Motorcraft - Cap Asy - Radiator (P) (RS527)

The one I received lately works just great, it fits tightly, sometimes they don't, I have no clue as to why but this one is doing the job so far.

Installed on 2001 7.3l diesel. Cheap insurance to make sure you aren’t overheating your engine. Replace every 5 years or so in my opinion. Would buy from seller again. Pain going to parts store. Sometimes for me.

Took a few times of tightening and releasing before it started to click, but all is good now!

This is another case of getting a good quality Motorcraft replacement part quickly for my high-mileage Ford Taurus. The price of the part, and delivery, is better than from a parts counter, and quality is better than most aftermarket parts.

I am a Japanese who loves Ford Explorer.And, of course, I'm driving every day.But Ford pulled out of Japan.It was a very sad event.Japanese can not buy Ford parts in Japan.I want to tell the US President.Since Japanese people drive American cars in Japan and want to do maintenance on their own, realize Ford's sales in Japan again.Although the story deviated, this part was fully usable.Thank you.

Fit my 2005 F250 6.0 like a glove. Feels MUCH tighter than the last one that I suspect PO had an aftermarket one on because this one came in a sealed OEM package from Ford. So now I suspect my degas bottle in general is aftermarket which explains a lot. I heard hissing from the last cap one day so I tightened it a few more clicks and it seemed to stop the leak. However, these are very reasonably priced and it’s not worth the risk to keep the possibly faulty old one on. One less thing to worry about. Now there are only 9,337 other problems left instead of 9,338.
