Crema Dermatola 30ml

About 6 months after visiting a friend with dogs, I had an intense face reaction (Dermatitis and/or Seborrheic Psoriasis.) My skin was turning red, scales were produced on my forehead and beard area, skin was hot, and any cream put on my skin was painful / skin would sting. Also there was terrible itching, sometime so intense it would wake me up through the night, needing to scratch my face intensely. Scaling was severe after showering, and frequently had to 'rub off' the scales after drying my face/hair with a towel before applying moisturizers. I tried several creams/treatments/recommendations from pharmacists / ChatGPT, which I list below for your information and, hopefully, assistance.But the only cream that 'repaired' the damage and finally cleared this condition was SEBCLAIR. Note that I had to apply this cream several times a day, and occasionally, a few times within an hour, especially after shaving. It took a few weeks for the condition to clear completely, but now I have great face skin, perhaps the best I had all my life.SEBCLAIR was the ONLY cream that wouldn't make my skin 'sting' when I was putting it on. It never made my eyes tear (like other products) and could be applied without issues around the eyebrows, around the lips, without any strange sensation, smell or taste. I've been very impressed on how well it works and how mild it is. Also, it is primarily based on shea butter, without intense pharmaceutical ingredients.Please note that during showering, I also washed my face with Denorex with Mentar (which I don't think is available any more) and/or Selsun Blue Salicilyc Acid Shampoos, which helped a lot in reducing skin inflammation, before using face creams. And, although painful, I found cheap after shave to help in managing itchiness after shaving and before using any creams (weird, but true!)What other products I tried and how well they worked:1. Aloe Vera gel: cooled the area and helped initially, but the effect only lasted a few hours. Soothing, but, ultimately, not therapeutic.2. Dermo Scribe (Amazon) Seborrheic Dermatitis Cream, Eczema Cream, Specifically formulated for application to Itchy Skin, Redness, & Scaling, For Face, Chest & Scalp, 2 oz: I only used this cream once. It seemed to work, but the smell of the cream was off-putting (it contains Sulfur, Hydrocortisone and salicylic acid.) Also, when used around the lips, it created a strange taste in my mouth. It could potentially help people that require faster healing, but, because of the above, I couldn't continue using it.3. La Roche-Posay, Toleriane Sensitive Creme (Protective Soothing Moisturizer): This was recommended both by a Pharmacist and ChatGPT. It is one of the best and milder creams to use for moisturizing the inflamed skin. However, in my case, the soothing didn't last and itching would return after a few hours. Also the skin would sting somewhat while putting it on. But the moisturizing effect was visible and lasting. I could understand why it is highly recommended and may work well with others with milder symptoms.4. FRUDIA Avocado Relief Face Cream, Calming Korean Face Moisturizer w/62% Avocado Extract, Centella Asiatica & MadecassosideX4 for Dry, Sensitive Skin (Amazon): This was my second favorite after SebClair. (I had tried an avocado-butter based cream while in Europe which actually worked well in soothing and protecting the face as well as reducing itchiness, but since I couldn't find anything similar in here in the US, I looked for avocado-based creams on Amazon.) The FRUDIA Avocado works beautifully. I stays on the skin longer; protects, sooths, and moisturizes. I still use it after shaving and to maintain softness / calmness. Highly recommended, especially for people with milder symptoms.I hope my detailed write-up offers some ideas / helps some of you with similar problems.

I have never left a product review before, but this product is truly amazing. I have had seb derm in the winter for about 10 years now, always using some kind of anti-fungal to kill the yeast and either steroids, Elidel, Eucrisa, or just moisturizers, or harsh salicylic acid to try to deal with the redness, itching, and scaling. Many others are probably used to this cycle: an anti-fungal strips your skin and makes you more vulnerable to flares of this chronic condition. So you apply creams that are inevitably too thick or oily and make the yeast component of the condition, )or other acne-like or rosacea conditions), start up again.Sebclair is sold under the prescription name Promiseb in the US. It is available from Europe without a prescription. It has a gentle anti-fungal, plus lactic acid instead of salicylic acid. So it deals with the scaliness while also moisturizing instead of stripping the skin. Within two days of 2x/day use, my skin was completely clear. After one application, I could tell it absorbed nicely and wasn't greasy like Elidel, Eucrisa, etc. It made the skin feel simply quenched. All but one patch of scaliness on my cheek disappeared. After one more application that night, even that patch had disappeared. I have no signs that it will return, such as the subtle redness, itchiness, or swelling that always in the past have hinted at the problem still being there. I would use this as an all-over moisturizer if it weren't quite as expensive. If you are worried that the yeast will feed off of the moisturizers in this as with so many other creams, don't be! There is an anti-fungal that takes care of that after the yeast are lured by some of the other ingredients, as I read in a European product review. Dermatologists are mostly not even aware of this product. I heard a dermatologist say that it wasn't better than other shea butter products, but I think the proportions in this are ideal. If you are concerned that there is not an "active ingredient," also do not fear! There are several fantastic ingredients for the skin on top of the anti-fungal and lactic acid.Can't recommend this enough for rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis overlap. I can even use a retinoid again for fine lines and any other issues without having to worry that it will destroy the skin in the areas with seb derm. Maybe best of all, there are no harsh ingredients to worry about combining with others, if pregnant and breastfeeding, or for long-term use. It basically heals the skin barrier, attacking the root of the problem...and overnight! For those who did not have success, I would recommend using another gentle anti-fungal alongside this, and I think that gel formulation of Ketaconazole (or the cream if you can't get the gel) and Vanicream's Z-bar with zinc pyrithione are two of the best options if you do not want anything fragranced, occlusive, etc.Great product, I would give it 6 stars if I could.

A little thin but covers pretty well in spite of it. Gets rid of my scales and flakes.

I apply a small amount twice a day and my seb derm has never returned. There are no steroids or strong anti-fungals so this will not work quickly if you have a flare up but it is great as a preventative measure and is safer for your skin.

SO glad and relieved to have found this cream. Same as PromiseB at a fraction of the price. Imported from France. The ONLY thing that cleared up my SD (neither the antibiotic nor the anti fungal prescription creams worked as well). It is steroid free, thank goodness, and is made up of a great combination of mild antibiotic, mild anti fungal, emollient and anti inflammatory ingredients. I use it with organic squalane (olive oil based) moisturizer, because my skin turned super dry after an immune reaction to the shingles vax, never to return to the same texture as before. The combination of the squalane moisturizer and a thin layer of Seb Clair has gotten me as close as I can get to the healthy skin I knew as a younger person.
