I've used it 15-20 times over the span of a year, but unfortunately it started showing some weird behavior, like a dim light whenever there are batteries in it (even when toggled off) and it's not switching off after being turned on. Great design and versatility for all my needs (bikepacking, camping, etc..), but couldn't rely on it.I've been in contact with PrincetonTech warranty and they responded pretty fast and I already got a RMA code for sending it back to them, but I'm currently in Brazil and it would cost far too much to send it back, so I guess its end of the line.Bottom line: could be better.

This is the second one of these I bought. I really enjoyed the versatility and numerous features and mounting options this had. I bought mine for aviation and flying aircraft. My sister is a vet and out late and early on farms and this does it all. The magnetic base, the multiple different mounts. The different colors and dimming. It’s very versatile and gets used all the time. She likes hers as much as I like mine. Princeton tec consistently makes more reliable and higher quality innovative products then anyone else

The LED is bright. The parts clip together magentically fine. The concept is alluring.The headstrap/housing combination hurts my forehead after a few minutes. The light divergences broadly, and though it's a decent amount of light, only useful to me with up-close objects. The detaching portion is handy, esp working in metal-trussed applications. I don't find myself using that piece as much as I thought I would.I prefer the replaceable batteries, as those are quicker to be back to bright than having to stop and recharge. The magnet is stronger than I expected. I have not used any of the other accessories that came in the package as yet. Don't really have a use for them.My 5+-yr old Black Diamond LED headlamp cast a nicer-for-me beam. It was getting worn out, and the battery compartment sometimes allows the cells to disconnect. I was happy to see "made in the USA" tag on it, so I gave it a chance. Another plus is there's no additional mode to have to switch through to use it...it's off or on. The bright light does not seem to last long. The dimming function works, but don't really use it.

Great light, very bright and like the way you can set the brightness then go on/off at that level. Princeton Tex has great service, actually got this as a stop gap as I broke my other and they r in process of replacing.Use these for fishing almost every night, this light is great. Easily adjustable!

This is a really cool light. I use it mainly on my bike and as a headlamp. It is high quality, like all of princeton tec products. It is not the most comfortable headlamp that takes one star off. It is just as useful as they claim. While loading mountain bikes on my rear rac, I just stick the light to my tailgate and have plenty of light. Great product.

like, 300 lumen is bright, can cycle from dim to bright, double click for flash, can be used for hiking, biking and camping, truly all in one, if it has red light be perfect, cheers

We purchased this for our athlete who is training mostly outside. Provides, plenty of light for evening trainings outdoors, and LOVE that it was made in USA. Sturdy, easy to use and may buy more for the rest of the family.
