Design Toscano Prometheus The Rebel Titan Sculptural Wall Pediment

Arrived ahead of schedule and in one piece. Disappointed to see ,"made in China" on the box and when opened its actually gray in color not the white or stone color...I guess nothing says love like Krylon.

It hangs on 2 mounting brackets (installed on the back). However, the 2 mounting holes on the back were not the same distance from the base. (Another reviewer mentioned this as well.) So in order to get it to hang straight, be sure to measure the distance from the base to the top of EACH mounting bracket - if they're not exactly the same distance (as mine was not) it won't hang straight. But if you measure carefully it's not a problem. Other than that one small issue, the quality is excellent for the price, and this is a very nice decoration.

I have a nice style at home that goes with this piece of art very well. Design Toscano is a house that does historical reproductions. My style is Roman / Greek, and I merge it with contemporary design. I love it. I did a mold of the piece first because is heavy for one person. Put the mold over the wall, marked the place of the holes, drilled, and voilà !

Half my family is old country Italian from Naples, so you can imagine the sculpture and statues I was subjected to growing up. lol! Seriously though, this one passes the "is this real?" test. It looks like the genuine article in terms of weight and finish. And this guy has so much presence! I have it above the entry to my dining room from the foyer. Dining room is saturated pine green, DR is "velvety Merlot", and this beautiful pediment is a perfect transition between the rich colored rooms. I think it would look good on any color wall, but its definitely got a handsome, masculine intensity. I never have to worry about a Toscano product disappointing us here-they are always a dramatic compliment to my home.

I like it. It’s above my office door. Next to everything Design Toscano sculptures and Statues, risers.. Egyptian stuff. Lol

Looks good. Much heavier than I thought. Add hangers and use heavy duty anchors. Hang over an open doorway, not where a door opening, slamming, closing might jiggle it around

Really nice but would be even better if the two mounting holes at the back were placed at the same height.It took me a while to work out why it was not hanging level.

Good value for money for use as over door decor

La figura está genial, pero el sistema de fijación se soltaba de la figura casi sólo con el consiguiente peligro de que se fuera al suelo. Hemos tenido que hacer manualidades para garantizar que no se cayera.
