I purchased this for my 24g Nanocube to replace 2 6025s. I like the built in controller and the built in program to set up a resonant wave. However, I'd like to see the slots done differently. I lost a pipefish to this powerhead that had done perfectly well for many months with the 2 6025s.

Pump worked properly, but it is very loud.

This is a powerful little pump. It changed the sandscape in my tank just from the draw current and it is only set at about 3.5 power. I love the surge and wave functions and the controller. The controller is not very intuitive to use as previously mentioned. There is a pretty good how to video on bulk reef supply. There is a bit of a buzz when operating but nowhere as loud as my fans were in the hood of my cube. I ditched the hood and added a Kessil and the lack of noise is significant. The blue shock absorbers can wiggle loose when you are trying to tweet the placement of this pump. This is due in part to the very strong magnet that requires the user to twist and slide it into place. An amazing amount of detritus was stirred up I after installation. The directional flow "spout" is a little bit of a pain though. If you want to make an adjustment you either have to remove it or use two hands inside the tank. It doesn't rotate like I thought it would. Nice small footprint in my 29 gallon nano. Just saw it for $115 here. Wish I waited a week to buy it.
