Easy to install rail, should have purchased a 6.5 ft rail , would have hit some studs. 6 ft rail worked with some heavy duty anchors. Too install allowed for use of standard slab door. It’s short unless you add to top so installed skirt on bottom. Looks nice. Quiet , heavy duty hardware

The kit is easy to assemble, though it does take some construction skills to install. The kit comes with 1/2" wooden dowels that are meant to act as drywall anchors to attach the track to the wall. These will obviously never work so a mounting board is required to make the track secure. I used reclaimed barn boards as my mounting board. The boards are secured directly to the wall studs, then the track is attached to the mounting board. Double-check to ensure that the boards and the track are level, and make sure the vertical and horizontal measurements are accurate. Precision is critical to ensure the door operated properly.

I used this product to cover a narrow closet door in a powder room. I like the outcome a lot and had no issues with the product itself. The rollers work very well and I like the look quite a bit. It easily handles the weight of the 24-inch-wide hollow core door I used.The included allen wrenches are of poor quality. Be prepared to use your own.The instructions, though, required a lot of careful examination and interpretation, augmented by researching how to install a barn door via teh Interwebz. Youtube videos for other products helped quite a bit.The instructions don't mention the best practice of using a header board if you won't be able to screw the track mounts into a stud or something else that can take much more load than drywall. I'd recommend researching that.The instructions had one note that stated "10 mm = 1/16 inch". Nope. As an American, I can easily refer to 9 mm bullets that are lying all over the place here and see that they're substantially thicker than 1/16th of an inch. ;-)Ultimately, I'm really happy with the product but definitely want to warn folks about the instructions.

The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for a newly remodeled bathroom. We already made a barn door from another barn door kit for a closet in our master bedroom. Due to the location of the bathroom entrance, we could not use an usual single-hanging barn door. This product worked great for our intended use. This kit has more parts but it looks more sleek and modern. Love the product!!!

Very attractive , smooth operation , but , manual of no value , vague and incomplete for a number of different products ... don't buy if you only have a room temp political conservative I Q , you'll never make it work . The inside bore on the stops was left unfinished , wouldn't index .... burned an hour w/a die grinder finishing them . In the end I did manage to complete the project . This product replaced a black iron barn door hdw. set that did , in fact , look like the inside of a barn , seemed like a good idea at the time .

Lots of extra parts. But helps to have things you don't always think about.Good looking product

I fitted a barndoor across a 1200mm hallway that did not have anywhere to mount the roller track. I ended up making a headboard across the 1200mm gap and 1200mm back along the wall. This sliding door hardware then fitted up fine. The rod comes in 3 pieces that screw together that I thought might flex but when all the mounts are added is very sturdy.The door is actual 2 x 2200x600 laminated beech panels which I joined together with dowels...so about a 50kg door.

Pulled the track out of the box and checked inventory of parts. These covered all the possible mounting alternatives with exception of drywall & no studs aligned. Picked up some 5 butterfly fasteners and solved the mounting dilemma.Rollers glide smooth and bumpers are quiet. Added roller guides to the floor rather than cut groove into underside of door.Highly recommend this slider barn door product.

The media could not be loaded.  Es muy buen producto, yo lo compre de 6 pies, el acabado es muy estético (sepillado inoxidable), yo instale los rieles y la puerta en material ligero (hoja de yeso) y tuve que utilizar los tornillos que puse en la imagen, quedó muy bien, bastante sólido, la instalación no es difícil, asegurate de usar un nivel y revisar las separaciones de la puerta .... recomendado 100%
