Q: Is this 100% vinyl? If not, what pieces are not.

The Teton cupola (and our other cupolas except for the Durango cedar model) is constructed with cellular PVC (Versatex brand material.) With the exception of the copper on the roof, and the internal components supporting the copper roof, the Teton cupola material is all cellular PVC. The base and the midsection (with louvers) are completely made of cellular PVC, as is the trim around the bottom of the copper.

Q: Will I have to cut the base to match my roof pitch?

Yes, each installer will customize the angle cuts to match the roof upon which the cupola will be installed. Accentua's cupolas are provided with straight bottoms on each side. The marking and cutting process is fairly simple, and instructions are provided.

Q: So….. the mid section does not line up with the base and predrilled holes don’t line up. Very little to catch if I drill new holes . Now what?

Due to the width of materials, the space tolerances are fairly tight. Screws will need to be angled a bit, and will each go into the corners. Screws are able to be used with or without pilot holes, so they may be started at the locations that make the most sense.

Q: Can this item be installed on a metal roof?

There is no reason to assume that it cannot be installed on a metal roof.
