2016 release, the fourth album from Finlands own merry metallers. Reckless Love are carrying the torch of fun loving melodic hard rock and boy oh boy, they are doing it right. The band has been churning out insanely catchy anthems of wild parties, crazy nights and of course, girls girls girls for a better half of the decade now. There is simply no stopping this quartet. Since day one, this brilliant band has been known for their shameless, colorful and high energy live performances which they have taken all over the world. Relentless touring in their home territory Finland, and also in the United Kingdom has helped them reach a steady following in both countries. In fact, the British fans showed their love in 2013 by raising their previous album Spirit to 11th place on the British rock charts. In Finland, their fans went a little further and made Reckless Love a gold selling artist. Pepe Reckless, the bands guitarist, describes the album as their boldest and most versatile so far. He also adds that this time the results didn't come easy and it really meant shedding some blood, sweat and beers

Reckless Love Delivers Again!
This album truly solidifies Reckless love as one of the top Hair/Glam/Pop Metal bands currently out there. Every release only adds to their already amazing catalog, and #IV (InVader) does not disappoint.Production is top notch as always. Olli's vocals are prominently displayed over the crisp guitars and tight drums. I would have expected nothing less.Songs are extremely well written. Going in, I was expecting a more synth heavy album, but was pleasantly suprised at how many great riffs they packed into this thing. Amazing! Lyrics are a bit cheesy, but when it comes to Reckless Love and hair/glam in general, it's welcomed and delivered spot on.Great album. Don't miss it! If you're already a fan, take the plunge and you won't regret it!

Terrific Fourth Album for Reckless Love
You know how sometimes you go into a CD with your mind pre-blown and it lets you down? Well think just the opposite with the new Reckless Love album. I heard so many negative views about this album that I was hesitant in buying it, and I love these guys. After taking the plunge and risking dramatic letdown, I am actually really pleased with InVader. To all the people who claim this album is such a drastic departure for the rockers from Finland I say this: have you ever bought and listened to a Reckless Love album? Sure, these guys aren’t going to impress any diehard metal heads anytime soon, but for what they are, they’re great. InVader does have some really poppy moments with songs like “Scandinavian Girls” and “Child of the Sun,” and they may make some people squirm a tiny bit, but after a couple listens these songs get lodged right in your brain. The album is essentially everything I thought it would be and more, though. The production and sound is terrific, the lyrics are zany and cheesy, and the band sounds like they’re in top form musically. Songs like “We Are the Weekend,” “Hands” and “Bullettime” are favorites, but I haven’t found a dud in the lot yet. Though it may not be as great as their debut or Spirit was, InVader is still a great slab of Scandinavian bliss! If you like anything from Reckless Love in the past, you’ll like this too. If you feel like these guys are simply too poppy for your taste, then this CD will do nothing to change your mind in any way. I have always loved what these guys have done and are about, but then again, I have never taken myself too serious as a metalhead either.

Great melodic rock with an excellent beat. If Def Leppard were even more pop.

Should have been so much more.
Reckless Love - InVader (2016)Rating: 3 / 5Ever since Reckless Love's 2010 self titled debut I have depended on the band to quench my 80s inspired glam metal thirst. After the advance release of the band's single "Keep It Up All Night," it looked as though "InVader" would be yet another great release by these Finnish rockers. "InVader" starts off well enough with the kind of up beat, party hearty rockers that we have come to expect from the band. The band's second single from the album "Monster," has a strong Lordi vibe to it, so much so, that I almost feel like I have heard parts of this song before. After "Monster" things start to get hit or miss for the remainder of the album, and in some instances downright corny. "Child of the Sun" and "Scandinavian Girls" would have been cheesy in the 80s, so in 2016 they are downright cringe worthy. The rest of the album is mediocre at best, minus the aforementioned "Keep It Up All Night." After all the hype and push for this album, I was definitely hoping for a better effort. "InVader" is a big let down, and although not horrible per se, it just doesn't measure up to the band's previous releases.See more of my reviews and more over at [...]

Stirring the Metal Pot
A few reviewers are missing the point. If you have listened to all their albums, especially the last one "Spirit", the variety of tunes should not be a surprise. Compare them to another contemporary "eighties" type band Crazy Lixx, who I think is great but very much sticks closer to formula for this music. Reckless Love is attempting to blend modern pop elements and AOR with sharp "hair metal" riffs and tongue-in-cheek "glam" posing. It's a blend that to some may come across as silly but I think it's refreshing and unique. And it's extremely well executed and recorded. I always point to my favorite band of all-time (and the greatest metal band of all time), the metal gods Judas Priest, who always understood their place in the metal genre throughout the years, yet allowed themselves to color and experiment with their sound (and some fans complained about that too!). They could do that because of the talent and vision of the members, and I can appreciate that in what Reckless Love is trying to do as well. You will not confuse their sound with any of the other modern "hair metal" bands out there, and they don't really sound like any band from the eighties either. To be unique and original after 30+ years of this type of music is terrific, and I am hoping that Reckless Love keeps stirring the metal pot in their own way for years to come. Keep on rockin'!

Spirit of Reckless Rock
Raise your hands in the air and celebrate another fantastic album from these scandinavian melodic rockers. Their albums just keep getting better. I absolutely loved their last album "Spirit" and was hoping they would maintain their high standards of song writing. This album follows on in fantastic style. If you are a fan of catchy 80's rock such as Poison, Europe, Ratt and Tyketto you will love this album. The ability to write songs which sound fresh and instantly enjoyable is a skill that should be cherished. Cornwall now echoes again to the sound of Vikings rocking the Celtic coasts.

#2「Hands」、#4「Child Of The Sun」、#5「Bullettime」、#10「Let's Get Cracking (THWP)」辺りが特に好きです。

These guys need to be huge, this is real feel good glam metal at its best. Another strong outing from these guys. If these tracks don't put a smile on your face and make you want to get your hands in the air - you might want to check you're still alive!!Just buy it, reckless love never disappoint!!

Ohrwurmgarantie!!
