Well worth the cost, and they arrived in only a few days of me order them. Took me a few tries to get it perfect but I used only one stick out of the whole pack so it’s definitely worth it!

never installed fiber optic sights before. i watched it done on YouTube so I had an idea how to proceed. The fibers are very bright. The red and green do melt at different temperatures, but this is not a bad thing. If the red melted at the same temperature as the green it would come out of round. This would be a negative to most gun owners I can would guess. i made the attempt several time before I got the look I wanted. There is a lot of material included in the pack. I don't figure I'll have to ever buy more ! I took advantage of the two different melting points. When the green began to flare I removed the heat. Inserted the fiber and cut it to length. Then repeated on the other ends. The different melting points made it possible for me to keep the red round and it centered in the green. there is a reason they have different melting points. Take advantage of this.

These work well, but they dont stand out as well as I'd like. I thought the colors would contast very well but they dont meet my expectations. I went to an indoor range, with good lighting. I suppose they may work better when illuminated by sunlight, but indooe LED white lighting that was pretty bright didn't do it for me.I will probably just pic up some dayglo green ones to replace this.

I used this for a . 357 Taurus protector poly. love Truglo products.But the problem is, when you heat the end to bead, you lose most of the green. You're then left with a much smaller red.The fit is perfect, just not bright.I went with the. 078 regular fibers instead.Much better.
