The Hybrid Series combines the best qualities of Carbon fiber and Glass fiber construction. Glass fibers soften the crystalline Carbon tone to provide a mellow yet resonant sound, all at an attractive price point. The Rain Song Orchestra Model is the most refined of all Rain Song shapes. It is our most comfortable and intimate guitar, with an immediacy of presence that makes it a favorite with the coffee house crowd. The treble, already a breathtaking attribute of Rain Songs, and the carbon sound are simply sublime in this little guitar. A crystal bell clarity, balance, superb separation of individual notes, and an expansive dynamic range make the OM one of our most individually expressive guitars. Because of Projection Tuned Layering, the OM is capable of strong projection. It won't rattle windows like the Jumbo or the Dreadnought, but the OM, when driven, packs a lot of power and punch for a small bodied guitar.

Love this Guitar!
Really love this guitar. It is my second RainSong. First was a higher end Dreadnought which is another 5 star guitar. Was hesitant on buying carbon fiber until I actually played one.Looked at them all and eventually became convinced that RainSong had the quality I was looking for.Stays in tune for weeks. No worries whatsoever about humidity which I cannot say for the rest of my guitars.Nice neck and tuners.Bought this one initially for travels as it is relatively small, light and reportedly indestructible. It has become my go to axe when just noodling on the couch watching TV or in my office.I am really impressed with the workmanship on this "lower end" RainSong guitar.I do agree with another reviewer that it is a little on the bright side, but I like that.I would recommend this one without hesitation.

Delightful Guitar
This is a great guitar in many ways. The primary reason to get it, of course, is durability. I needed a guitar that could survive the humidity of the beach, and this should last forever. The body is unbelievably light, and the sound is bright. Maybe a little too bright for some songs, but nice for most. Built-in electronics and tuner.

Excellent Composite Guitar!
I bought this guitar sight unseen, and having never played a Rainsong before. However, after watching many positive reviews, and playing other brands of CF guitars, I was intrigued to give this a try. It's great having a guitar that can withstand the heat/cold and fluctuating humidity of Canadian weather. It's quite loud and has great projection. Having no need for bracing, makes the top sing out in volume. It's also unnervingly thin if you're used to wood guitars. Just takes some getting used to. The thin top also adds to the volume and projection. The guitar sounds very clear, almost bell like in the mids and trebles. Very clear string definition. Bass is a bit lacking, however I suspect that's because they have 80/20 Elixir's on. My next set of strings will be uncoated Phosphor Bronze to get a baseline of how this guitar sounds. I suspect this guitar will likely stick with coated PB's.My particular copy of this guitar could use a slight adjustment for string height, but overall, it's not bad, and I wouldn't go out of my way to get one done immediately. It came with a very nice fitted hard shell case with a combo lock. Looks like it has a TSA keyhole as well. Guitar itself is very light, but with the case it carries as if it was a small OM body solid wood guitar.Pros:- LOUD- bell like sound clarity- very good string definition- can withstand wide range of temps and humidity without fear of warping- very light weight when playing- looks incredible- great caseCons:- sounds a bit tinny (but likely due to strings)- when priced at reg price, I personally prefer tone of a solid wood guitar- purists will gawk at you for the non-traditional guitar- it will make your friends jealous for not buying one with you when you told them it was on sale.
