Good variety of snacks and customer service went above and beyond.
We ordered this as a healthy gift basket for some friends. The snack variety was really good and the shipping was fast. We were contacted by the seller about a few issues with our basket and they went above and beyond to fix everything. We really appreciate it.:)

Yummy vegan snacks
Pretty good selection. Some snacks were better than others, but it's good to try out a bunch of different vegan snacks.

Great Gift Idea
I gave this as a gift for this past Christmas, and they loved the variety and being introduced to other brands and items they didn’t usually buy. Great value and great gift.

Good snacks--not worth the money
I bought this to try out some healthier snacks as an alternative to the junk food in the vending machine at work. It is a great way to try out new snacks before buying more. But at $2.80 an item, it is not worth the price.

Healthy Snacking and Lots of Variety
Snacking should be kept to a minimum. It shouldn’t become too frequent and it certainly helps with the snacks one chooses are healthier than average. Nowadays, there are many healthy snack choices and a quick means to get a large sampling of healthy snacks is with the Peaceful Squirrel Variety Snack box.Opening this package reveals 15 different snacks and a tote bag to carry them in, which can be used later for other purposes. The snacks range from such diverse options as seaweed, cookies, chickpea snacks, and much more. What makes these snacks better than most is that they are made with healthfulness in mind. Several of them offer multiple grams of plant- based protein per serving and most all of them are low in sodium. Some of them are certified organic, too.I like the snacks I have tried so far in this pack. I think my personal favorites are the Hippeas snack and the Beanfields Nacho bean chips. These are quite satisfying when served as part of a healthy lunch and the added benefits, like the extra fiber and protein in the bean chips, mean I can enjoy my snack and feel good about what I am eating. If you’re going to snack, you should always try to eat healthy and should try to limit what you consume. With the Peaceful Squirrel Variety Snack Pack, you get a nice assortment of 15 healthy snacks bound to put a smile on your face and make you feel good about what you’re eating, all while satisfying your urge for a quick between- meal fix. If you like variety in what you eat, like I do, then this is an excellent snacking option. It's a little pricey, but the healthfulness makes you overlook the cost.

A really nifty box and mostly great items but individual quality may vary!
As someone who has a lot of food allergies and tries to eat healthfully, I really appreciate boxes like these that have snacks with good ingredients, many of which are free from top allergens and/or vegan! I'm going to rate each item individually but it's important to note that since this is a third party box, if something is rancid, it might have happened during transit when the vendor was delivering the individual items to Peaceful Squirrel (e.g. hot trucks or hot warehouses) and therefore isn't necessarily the company's fault because I checked all the expiry dates and everything was good!Hippeas - 5/5! These are so good. I used to eat these all the time at work. If you like puffy snack chips, these will definitely be your thing. They're vegan and incredibly filling and really don't have that many calories (only 130 per bag).Beanfields bean chips - 5/5! So yummy! They taste like fried refried beans... which is kind of weird? But I was super into it and they have great texture. I also thought these were incredibly filling. They'd be great for dipping although the spice balance makes them tasty on their own.Popchips - 2/5! The oil on these tasted like it had gone off. Usually I'm into these chips but these were not good.Stacy's Parmesan and Garlic Pita Chips - 4/5! Delicious but VERY garlicky and don't recommend eating these before the other treats because the garlic flavors will affect how other things taste.Bare Apple Chips - 5/5! We're going to use these for baking!Sonoma Creamery Everything Cheddar - 5/5! They taste like cheese crackers (as in the kinds made with baked cheese) but not as salty. Unlike the other snacks in this box, these DO have sesame, so if you are allergic, do not consume these. But if you are not, these would make a great addition to a cheese board or eaten on their own.Biena Chickpea Snacks - 2/5! These tasted like maybe the oil had gone off too. I'm guessing maybe they were stored in a warehouse that was too hot. Or maybe I didn't like the oil it was seasoned with? Either way, not great.Shale Pomegranate Pistachios - 5/5! Shale is a great brand. I'm super familiar with their products as we have used them for charcuterie boards. Great blend of pistachios and fruit. Super filling snack, sweet and salty.Classic Hummus Chickpeas - 5/5! Nice baked chickpea snack, good alternative to the corn snacks which can be so hard that they can pose a hazard to your teeth. Chickpeas tend to crumble when chewed. The flavors added to these are meant to imitate hummus. I thought they were very delicious.GimMe Seaweed Snacks - 5/5! Love that these don't have sesame. So many seaweed snacks do. These would be great crumbled over rice or added to ramen, which is what we did.Lenny and Larry's Chocolate Chip Cookies - 2.5/5! Gosh, these were so cloyingly sweet that I thought they had stevia in them. They are gluten-free, I believe, which can be tricky because it can mean that the texture is off. These are VERY crunchy and the chocolate was a little melted. I wasn't really that into them, sadly.Kodiak Cakes Granola Bar - 4/5! Yum! Calorie dense, these are meant to be a breakfast on the go type of item as they have about 210 calories in them. Loved the burnt sugar taste of the maple. They're very filling. I could only eat one of the two bars in a sitting.Dang Coconut Chips - 5/5! Another item that we're using for baking/parfaits. :)Made Good Chocolate Chip Granola Balls - 5/5! Yum! I'm a huge fan of Made Good and think it's really cool how they sneak some veggies into these (broccoli and shiitake and a couple other things). They're very filling and I often like to eat them in lieu of a meal if I'm not feeling up to a full breakfast or lunch.Love, Corn - 3/5! They're way too crunchy. I was worried about hurting my teeth. I think if you have sensitive teeth or a history of breaking teeth you should definitely avoid these. The chickpea snacks are much easier to chew.Overall, there's a great variety of items in this set and I really enjoyed most of them! :)
