I'll admit it does look cheaply made, but It worked perfectly and was easily loud enough for the group of 300 people I used it with in the rain

Very clear and piercing
The unit I have takes 8 batteries. If I was to purchase this item again, I would have gotten the rechargeable version. Works great!

A key design difference sets this apart
A major benefit of this model over every other megaphone I could find is this one has a screw-on cap for the battery compartment. All others have cheap hinges which quickly fail. The flashlight function doesn’t mean anything to me but works fine. The price is a tad high but factoring in the hinged models I’ve had to replace with these, not so bad after all.
