Shea Moisture Anti-Breakage Shampoo 13oz Yucca & Plantain (2 Pack)

If you have coarse/thick hair that is prone to bad tangles, you will love this product. Both I and two of my daughters have hair that will literally, "dreadlock" itself. My biggest issue with trying to transition from relaxed hair to "all natural" is the tangling. I love all the Shea Moisture products I have ever tried from facial lotions to leave-in conditioners, this is literally one of my go-to brands. So, I wanted a change of scent for shampoo (was using the moisture retention line) and decided to try this formula. I'm soooooo very glad I did! We only use the shampoo. After just one shampoo and rinse, our hair feels clean, silky and moisturized. I never use conditioner when I use this shampoo. And the best part is: the tangles slip right out! I've never experienced a shampoo that literally breaks up the tangles in my hair or my daughter's thick hair. They are very happy because getting their hair combed takes less time and hurts less too. Also, this shampoo banishes frizz. I allow my hair to air dry, no frizz. So, to sum it all up: I HIGHLY recommend this product for those who struggle with frizzy, coarse, or unruly hair. This shampoo product performs beyond expectations and smells amazing (not too perfumey, just clean). It's not bad for others with normal or fine hair, but those with thick hair will notice a tremendous difference when using this product.

This one is ok. But this Yucca & Plantain one causes more of my hair to come out in the shower. And it doesn't feel as soft and moisturized as the Argan Oil one. My hair is fine and thick, because I have a lot of it. It can be quite frizzy sometimes. The Shea Moisture Argan Oil & Almond Milk products work better for me.

This had good reviews, so I tried it. I have long, thick hair. It left my hair very dry and had no lather. I won't buy again. Disappointed.
