Really had to search for this case. It seems that all the gamers only care about lights and bells... If your a real IT admin your always looking for a box that you can hot swap drives, setup a software raid on and support as many drives as possible without needing to purchase an expensive network storage appliance. I can only assume the computer market is presently being pushed by the short visioned gamers which is really hurting developing decent cases like this. Love the product works perfectly for me. I've packed it totally with disks and don't have any heat issues. Then again, I'm no gamer, so I don't have a GPU card for COD and nor am I bit coin mining....

I am impressed by the build quality and features of the CS01S-HS case. With it six external 2.5in hot-swap drive bays and two 2.5in internal drive bays, it would be ideal for my future low-power small form-factor NAS build. Though the SFX power supply may come a little too close to the SATA\SAS connectors of the hot-swap drive bay.

You have to bought almost a new computer to make it work.

More of a specific use case. So doesn't have some of the nicer features that you see in cases marketed more for gaming. But I got this for double duty, to hold a lot of harddrives and maybe be able to play some games. Be sure to read the specs/manual. Not all CPU coolers will fit. I did use a cooler that according to specs would not fit, but was very close. It ended up fitting, even though it was slightly oversized. So there is some wiggle room there. But it can get tight. Routing might not really be an issue since the sides are solid other than air flow holes, so you really won't see the "mess". My only disappointment are the Harddrive trays. They feel a little cheap, but are fine if you aren't constantly swapping drives. Would love them to be toolless, but they work for my uses. Case/setup was a lot quicker than I expected, even under load with the fans running high. No issues with the stock fans, but I might eventually replace with Noctua fans in the future. Yes the breakout cables are WAY to long, but the case seemed bigger to me for some reason so I pre-ordered the longest before I got the case.

I struggled to find a case that would fit my Enterprise SAS SSDs due to their thickness, but this case works! I wish it had 8 removable trays, but it has plenty of internal space for the additional drives. I had to remove the UBS 3 outlet due to interference with the power supply, but my MB has 3.0 plugs in the back. Thick aluminum chassis and sides make this a great LAN Party case or NAS. It is a bit overpriced though and there are cheaper options if you don't need the removeable bays.
