has a much better feel and warmth compared to wool socks, super soft inside, i have wool socks meant for winter and they dont hold up as good as these, 10/10 would recommend buying

These socks had a very strong chemical odor with the black "fuzz" from the socks shedding everywhere. I thought the problem would be solved by washing and drying them. The shedding "fuzz" problem was NOT solved and left my washer and dryer a mess of a millions small fibers everywhere. The chemical odor was lessened but still apparent. Plus the socks are rough to the touch. They are definitely going back!

I got the men's size because I'm tired of women's socks always being so damn tight. When did we all decide that socks should all be this elastic-y material that are too darn tight even in the normal adult size? Anyway I got these to spend 2 weeks in NYC in the winter, and I was really glad I did. I spent a lot more time outside than I thought I could handle, largely because I came prepared with warm socks (these and one other style), a balaclava, gloves and scarf.They are very comfortable and I was really shocked that my feet never felt cold even when spending an hour outside at night doing stage door at shows. And I get cold really easily so that says a lot. Temps were in the 20s and 30s at night most of the time I was there.These are really thick, as were the other style I got (different brand), so my regular shoes and boots were just too tight to wear with them. I got a couple new pairs at Payless in a larger size and that did the trick. It doesn't get as cold where I live but I've even worn them a few times when I knew I'd be outside at night in the winter, and was glad I did.If you're looking for socks to keep you warm without spending a small fortune or wearing something uncomfortable, these are worth it.
