it's more ylang ylang/geranium/patchouli, and less rosemary fragranced. so there is rosemary IN it, but it's not the strongest note.The shampoo IS lovely, however if you don't care for patchouli, that's the scent that lingers longest in my hair after a day without washing. good luck!

In my experience the shampoo does not foam as much. But I still like it as my hair seems really clean and it smells really great.
