1.) Many recipes involve sprouting, which has a learning curve, and is time consuming and not for full time workers or busy parents2.) Many ingredients in the recipes are probably not sold at your local grocery storeIf someone lives near an exotic grocery store and has a lot of time (1 to 5 days for sprouting) to invest in food prep, then this is the book for you .. The recipes seem very delicious, but complicated and not very convenient ..

good recipes but too many smoothies
There are some good recipes but Im disappointed in how many smoothie recipes take up the 100 recipes, about 20, I recall just one being from juicing using a blender. I wanted to return it and purchase the 400 recipe book , which I did purchase, and it has less on smoothies with more recipes in general. but kept both because of shipping costs.

Not all that impressed...
I’ve been vegan for 5+ years and I’m not one to eat meat or dairy substitutes, so I figured why not make the switch to raw? I ordered this as little guide to get me going. I found a lot of the recipes to be off and in need of major modifications. And this isn’t just based on my preferences, I had friends sample the recipes as is before I altered and everyone agrees they needed some work. Some of the recipes are time consuming and you need to make sure you read through in advance to give yourself enough time to soak various things for 3-8 hours, some for days. You could probably do a google search and get better guidance and recipes than from this book.

Arrived today as promised in great condition and really cool food choices to try out
Arrived today. I now have book cookbooks and pleased. I purchased the Rawsome Vegan Cookbook and absolutely love the colorful pictures. The Raw deal has not as many pictures but the different examples and food choices is really cool. Yes, I would recommend both books.

Looking To Eat Healthier? Then Grab This Cookbook!
If you are looking for healthier eating methods than this book is for you. What I really like about this book is the fact that a lot of explanation is provided as to the benefits and how to eat more raw foods. The author encourages a person to just incorporate some of these meals not trying to change all of a persons eating habits. The recipes are amazing. I cannot believe the sauces you can make from raw foods. There is no shortage of great ideas and recipes to try for anyone looking to eat little healthier. You can incorporate a few recipes or a lot, and still eat some wonderful meals. Truly I am amazed at the different recipes and things you can do while eating healthier. I really am learning a lot from this cookbook! Enjoy. I did receive this book for free to review, but my opinions are my own.

Definitely going to use
Definitely going to use this book. I am a vegan trying to go raw and it's so hard. The recipes are easy to follow and not too ingredient heavy. (One recipe only has two ingredients!) It has the typical raw food recipes like raw rice and spaghetti as well as some new ones I've never seen. It has a 21 day meal plan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas. Anything you could ask for. I love it!I received this book at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.

Raw food has changed my health and I recommend it for those who have lifestyle health issues such as hypertension. I had hypertension since 1984. raw food has brought it back to normal though I am on medication still. secondly my heart beat rate dropped from 80 and above to between 68 - 75 per minute.

Everything is organized nicely. There are over 100 raw food recipes in ...
Prior to acquiring this book, I knew little to nothing about raw eating, but I found the author to be very enlightening on the matter. They explained what raw eating is, the health benefits and even the pitfalls, tips for living a raw food lifestyle, faqs, and more. Everything is organized nicely. There are over 100 raw food recipes in different categories, such as breakfast, beverages, salads and soups, entrees, sides and snacks, fermented foods, desserts, and dips, dressings, sauces, and spreads. While most of the ingredients are pretty straightforward, there are a handful that I would have trouble finding at my local grocery store. The recipes are easy enough to put together, especially since no cooking is required, but some ingredients do need to soak for an extended period of time. For example, some nuts need to soak for up to 8 hours before preparing. Therefore, some of these recipes couldn't be made on a whim.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Best book on raw! Highly recommend!
Am I the only person who bought the book? lol I received it today and have read part one which talks about the 'how' of going raw and I think that this is one of the best books I've ever read on raw and I've read a LOT of raw books. I was raw for 12 years but wasn't doing so great and then I started eating some cooked food, and now I'm at the stage I'd like to eat more raw again. I know the feeling of clarity and lightness you get from eating raw. This book is great in that the author recommends taking raw slow and that it's OKAY to still eat cooked food, and that in fact some famous raw foodies do! It's all about finding the right balance for yourself, there are no hard and fast rules, it's your body, it's your life! I like the relaxed way this book is offered and yet it gently encourages the consumption of raw food for better health, and wellbeing. The recipes themselves are simple and there is also a detailed menu plan, something which is quite rare in most raw books so I loved this as I was looking to jog my memory on what I could eat. So, you could mix and match with the ideas presented here. Overall, I highly recommend this book! It's great for those completely new to the concept of eating raw and also offers some delightful recipes for those who've been eating mainly raw for a while.

Practical and tasty raw recipes
I've struggled for a long time- trying to go 80% raw, but constantly falling short. This book has some amazing recipes. I particularly found the lunch recipes useful. I can now create a totally raw lunch, that is tasty and fills me up till tea time!
