Kingdom Auto Parts FPKM292 Fuel Pump Module Assembly

I bought this pump to get my wife's old car running so that we could sell it. It was much cheaper than the auto parts stores and way less than the dealership, so I figured I'd give it a try.It seems to be a decent pump assembly and fits and works fine; however, it does have one major flaw in that the electrical connectors are super cheap and apparently do not resist gasoline. Obviously, this is crucial in something that spends it's life submerge in said liquid. I found this out because I had the exact same issue as the other reviewer had -- worked for a short while, then stopped. When I removed the pump from the tank, I saw that one of the connectors seem to have dissolved enough that part of it separated from the pump. So, I just cut both connectors off and crimped new ones on. When I installed the pump, it worked just fine.My recommendation to anyone that purchases this pump is to immediately replace the crimp connectors that came with it.

The fuel pump installed just like the factory one I removed out of the VW. The car ran. It's been 3 weeks now and all good. I hope it lasts.Update as of October 3, 2013. It died. I was hoping to get a year out of it. It only lasted 3 months.
