I place this under a mattress protector and fitted sheet and it is on our bed throughout the year. The electric under blanket is of a generous size, well made and can be washed should the need arise. It fits on the bed well although I would say the elastic tabs to secure it to the corner of the bed could be stitched just slightly further down the blanket so it secures a little better and prevents the elastic from pinging off. However, the elastic is good quality and it is fits over a very deep mattress, with the fitted sheet helping to secure it further. The under blanket does not move and where the control connects to the blanket it does not cause discomfort when laying on the bed due to it being positioned so close to the edge of the mattress. The dual controls are excellent and allow me and my husband to have the temperature of our choice without upsetting the other. In the winter I turn this blanket on in the early evening and by the time I come up to get into bed (often an hour or so later) the bed is toasty warm and it can be turned off. The lower settings allow you to have the bed warm without overheating although I never leave it on over night. It appears to be economical to run and means there is no need for heating in the bedroom throughout the night. This electric blanket is excellent for taking the chill off the bed before you get in and once the bed has heated up there is enough residual heat (once turned off) to keep you comfortably warm in bed for at least an hour or so. I also find that throughout the night I am not cold at all despite having turned the blanket off. I have several heated blankets in the house and this is by far the best quality. It is an absolute must have for winter- I would not be without it.

Being split into 2 with separate controls for each half is very convenient although you do need 2 sockets for this blanket - one either side of the bed. Controls are tucked away nicely so you are unaware of them when sleeping. It warms up quickly and makes the bed nice and toasty on a cold winters night! Very comfortable - we use it underneath a mattress protector and a fitted sheet, and you don't feel it when you lie down.

The only thing about it is ,the cable plug, should be under the blanket not on it ,

Blanket is of ample size, the controls are sturdy and well made. Luxurious slumber.

I must say, the VonHaus Electric Blanket is an excellent product and I highly recommend it. Though there are a few minor drawbacks that I've encountered. Firstly, the connector is positioned rather low, which was a bit of a hindrance at first, but I soon got used to it. Secondly, there is no automatic shut-off feature, which can result in the blanket being left on for extended periods and wasting energy. I've remedied this by using TP-Link Tapo smart plugs with a schedule to turn the electricity off before I wake up, and using Alexa commands to turn it back on if necessary. Lastly, the heated section isn't quite large enough, which means my feet tend to be outside of the heated area as I'm 6 feet tall.However, it's worth mentioning that the energy efficiency of this blanket is impressive. There are three heat settings, with very little electricity used:* Setting 1 (lowest) uses 15W* Setting 2 (medium) uses 30W* Setting 3 (highest) uses 75WAnd unless the room is particularly cold, you'll never need to use the highest setting for more than a few minutes as it becomes quite hot.Note that I've been using this blanket in between a memory foam mattress and a mattress topper, which may impact the warming time slightly. All in all, I would still highly recommend the VonHaus Electric Blanket for a cosy and energy-efficient bedtime experience.

Love this blanket, 3 controls on each side so hubby and I can have the warmth to suit.Only downside for us is that it is not a full blanket just a mattress topper with elastic corners which do come off very easily.

Lovely and easy to use. Pop it on 3 for 20 mins before bed, jump in turn it down to 1 and drift off to sleep.Not too fussy with zones etc just simple to use and fits over whole bed (elements stop just before pillows. Don't feel the elements as we have a thin mattress topper between blanket and sheet may be why it needs 20 mins to warm up rather than 10)..Plugs don't interfere with sleep unless you sleep on the edge of the bed but even then they're not awkward.For the price we paid (£37) and dual control it is a bargain during the cold weather.Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.!

The elastic corner straps are too small and don’t fit over the corners of my mattress. The plug in sockets on each side are so large they hurt if inadvertently knelt on getting into bed. I’ve put them at the end of the mattress and now have trailing ugly wires. Just wish I spent more and got a better product
