Ordered one mint and one Cherry got two mints!

OK. The flavor isn't going to win any awards- though I've had worse (think durian). There's a metallic, chemical taste that is hard to 'lose' (cough drops help), though the cherry scent is great. BUT, it does help with some pretty bad GERD (I'm looking at surgery soon). I use it mostly before bed to help keep acid at bay during the night, and not wake up feeling like I've had lava running through my chest.It has aluminum and magnesium, so the metallic and chemical flavor is easy to figure out. It's not bad enough to make me gag- but I'm sure my face isn't "happy" when I'm slugging it down. Definitely chase with water.

Worked like a miracle for me when I was having the most horrible heartburn in the evenings. Nothing else helped and I was in agony. I drank it straight from the bottle and within minutes the fire was put out.I have read that people can cure ulcers and other stomach ailments, as well as a chronic cough at night due to acid backing up into the esophagus, by drinking this before every meal. It coats the stomach and protects it and also the lower esophagus from acid damage.It healed me completly and I have not had acid heartburn since. I also gave up on anything at night with tomato sauce or heavy grease at night and eat my main meal earlier in the day. Works better than Pepto for me.
