Was very easy to use and stayed red for a long time.

I'm absolutely an Arctic Fox fan. The colors are so vivid, the dye is conditioning and easy on the hair, and it doesn't tend to stain the skin or scalp if any gets out of place. I get so many compliments on my hair now! That's not an experience I'm used to, as a man. I've used Electric Paradise, Purple Rain, and Poison, and I've been really pleased with all of them.Two notes:1. The colors don't always mix the way you'd expect, so don't assume you can blend or overlay colors. Experiment first if you plan to.2. This is semi-permanent color and I find that even with hair that's been very well lightened with salon-grade products, it washes out pretty quickly. I notice some color fade after even a single wash or a couple of no-shampoo rinses, and the colors definitely fade to worn pastels after four or five shampoos. This isn't necessarily a problem with the product, it's just how this kind of dye process works, I think. If you want your color to last, get used to keeping your hair clean, using dry shampoo if necessary, and trying to wash without shampoo if you have to wash. (Of course, the dye's not expensive or hard on my hair, so I just touch up regularly.)Also, I do wish the listings on here had more pictures of hair that had actually been dyed with the product in question. The preview images that are digitally colored just don't give a good sense of what the final shade will be.

Great, I love the color but it does bleed when it’s wet. But as long as your hair is dry you don’t have any trouble with it bleeding or shedding of any kind.

More of a screaming hell fire red than a dark red but I like it. I bleached my hair before using, natural is a medium/light brown.

This was my first time dying my hair, and I love it. I have quite short blonde/light brown hair and I didn't need to bleach. My blonde barely comes through, but the bit that does actually looks really nice under the red.My roommate dyed my hair for me, and used a little more than half the 4oz bottle. I left it in for half an hour, as recommended, and it came out magnificent. However, the next day, we decided to experiment and used the rest of the bottle on my hair, this time leaving the dye in for 5 hours or so. And it came out so red!! Like, an amazing bloody red. It looks incredible. I was going for Greta Gerwig in 20th Century Women & Lola from Run Lola Run, and that's what I got.The product smells nice, it conditions your hair, it doesn't stain your pillow, I've received so many compliments and looks on the street, and I'm just so impressed. I'll definitely be buying again and redying when it fades, esp. because it's so cheap and easy to use. LOVE!

I bought this in poison and it smells absolutely amazing! I put the dye in my hair and I blow dryed it for 20-25 min (bottle says 15 if I remember correctly but I recommend a little longer if your hair has a hard time absorbing color) I've had red hair for a few years now and it was a faded almost copper color when using this, and it came out amazing! I also put some of the left over in my conditioner for a boost and it I like it. I dont know what would be a big difference between colors, but my sister bought Poseidon and it smelled gross. Her hair didnt really come out the blue it was supposed too but I dont know if she follow directions too well, so be mindful and follow directions carefully when dying your hair :)

I love Arctic Fox and use Purple Rain regularly. I’ve tried a few other colors, but that purple! I decided to give Poison a go, and was a little disappointed. It came out a beautiful red (I have dark brown hair with a few bleached streaks and a few grey streaks), but I noticed it did not penetrate the greys as well as Purple Rain does (I leave it in 2 hours wrapped in plastic). Within a week, a lot of the red was gone already. Usually I have the purple for at least 4-6 weeks before it is noticeably faded (washing twice a week with Cantu and always in cool water). I will totally use it again if I’m feeling red, but for me it was much more temporary than their other colors.

*update* do not recommend it faded in almost a week!!! I would have given it 5 stars but unlike most dyes even splat I’ve never had problems with hair dye sticking to my natural hair so I am a bit disappointed in that but likewise I have no other complaints. Pics show a before an after. Before I just had the bleached ends (ombré). The bleach is why it stuck so good to my ends but this dye wasn’t sticking to my natural hair. I even left it on for over an hour. This was after one wash. It took me forever to get the water to run clear but even then after like 30 minutes of scrubbing it was still running pink. Be careful cause it will stain your tub or anything else light colored. I gave it 4 stars because it is the most vibrant hair dye EVER AND THE BEST SMELLLINNNGGGG!!! 😍 so fruity and wonderful. But AGAIN could be better! If you were to bleach before I would definitely recommend. I will post an update in about a month or so to let you guys know if my rating/opinion changes! 😊
