A beautifully produced book that has you wanting to be in the Middle East immediately. Not simply recipes, also warm-hearted and perceptive descriptions of life in the lands that were once part of the Persian Empire, together with excellent photographs of the people and the foods of the region.

Disappointed in that there were fewer recipes and not many photos of those but a lot of general photos of the villages. I was looking for a cook book.

Well researched book full of genuine local recipes, stories and travel photos. Couldn't be happier. Was also very pleased with the speed of delivery.

A truly beautiful book, colour photos, not just recipes but memories and stories about some fascinating countries. Part cook book, part travel book.
