So soft
Nice and soft and thick and stretchy. My boys love them as pajamas and under clothes in the winter. Great quality and less prone to holes than icebreaker though I like their waistbands and thumb holes better.

Cut slim, runs small, beautifully made
These leggings, while not cheap, seemed like a good value when I purchased them. (Sadly, my kiddo has outgrown the woolen sets from H&M and now I'm looking for the next good thing.) I bought the medium for my very slim and not yet into puberty 13 year old boy (which I had to return - too small). He's 81 pounds and 54" tall. I had him measure for this review. I based this on other's reviews. They were very close fitting and too small in the bottom. The large is better but also cut very slim. They are like a second skin which I think is probably good for long underwear. We got them for a school camping trip and they might get some use as bedclothes too before outgrown. The wool is very smooth and soft. My kid is sensitive to textures and would not wear them if they were scratchy. The way the hang loop is sewn in and the finishes show me how nicely made they are. I would definitely buy this brand again but might size up - it's hard when the size chart isn't that helpful (and also mis-marked, with 3 sizes marked XS).

warm & cozy underlayers
I operate a forest school and these were my daughter's favorite underlayers on the cold days outside. When she undressed inside, she often left these underlayers on because they are simply so cozy and warm!

So soft
My son goes to Forrest Kinder school in the PNW. He needs to be dressed properly as we can have pretty cold and wet fall and winters. I bought him a top and bottom base later and he loves it. He wears it almost every day and even wears it to bed. It keeps him warm, even when he gets sweaty. It keeps him from getting sweaty at night, works much better than his organic cotton pjs. He especially likes to wear his wool if he’s feeling sick. The fit is fantastic. The fabric is thicker than another set I bought on Amazon from another brand for my husband. It has great stretch. My son is 5 but tall, I got him a size 7 and thankfully the waistline fits his tiny waist. The arms and legs are larger on him but perfect that way, as he has a little extra fabric and room for growth. I really love this set and will buy him another one, and get some for family this year.

“Whaaaat!?!? I am NEVER taking these off!”
I purchased these for my 8yo for an upcoming early season backpacking trip. We need something warm for sleeping and possibly layering under hiking pants that will still insulate while wet and not get too stinky. The 250 weight feels so soft, the waist isn’t binding, they fit well under the pants and my pretzel child hasn’t stretched them out yet 👍She has declared that she’s never taking them off!The quality is fantastic & consistent- this is my 1st kids purchase from Meriwool, but my 3rd over the last couple years. The price is great too.

Durable & Comfortable
This is an essential for my little ones. The midweight merino wool base layer strikes the perfect balance between warmth and flexibility, allowing for comfortable movement during outdoor activities. its breathability of merino wool keeps them warm without overheating, and the soft fabric feels gentle against their skin. These thermal bottoms are not only durable but also easy to care for, making them ideal for active kids.

Best Quality
This item is really nice. It kept my kids warmth during the cold weather, it’s so soft that they don’t want to take it off. It’s true to size. Got a little bigger so it’ll last them for a couple of years.

Warm and cute; but a bit itchy
My daughter is very slender but these fit her great. She complains about them being itchy/scratchy, so we have to put another layer underneath them. Nice and warm and super cute.
