This stand is great. The ability to select a colour that matches your Mac or your tastes is fun. The silver matches my MacBook Pro exactly, not sure about how well matched the other colours would be to their respective devices.One aspect I love about this stand is that I can store my Apple Magic Keyboard 2 right underneath the stand perfectly to free up additional desk space when it's not in use.The stand is sturdy (my cat's have periodically walked across my Mac while on the stand, the stand barely yielded!). The clear plastic joint at the bottom that connects the two "prongs" is surprisingly elegant.I have no fear of my laptop sliding off of the stand. Not only do the rubberized pads on the top of the stand offer sufficient friction (yes, I realize the get less friction-y over time, but keep them clean!) there are plastic clips on the end that prevent the device from sliding off no matter how much or how little friction those pads offer. Other reviewers who claim their laptops slid off have not assembled their stands correctly.

Sturdy & well made, & easy to assemble.

I like the stand, I think it's a cool idea, and it feels really sturdy when you pull it out of the package.I have a 17-inch laptop that weighs about 9 pounds that I wanted to put on this stand. Judging by how solid it feels, I figured it was perfect. And it definitely holds the laptop up just fine. But the problem comes in when I would touch the laptop in any way, such as to type on it.When applying any pressure at all, such as to type, the stand would start wobbling and slightly bouncing a bit as I would type (just gentle typing, nothing hard), which was incredibly distracting and annoying. It'd get into a groove sometimes and just bounce up and down a bit the entire time I was typing, then slow itself down and stop after I'm done.I think a smaller/lighter laptop might work fine with the way this stand is designed, but it seems like in my case it just wasn't providing enough support. The front of the laptop is what takes the brunt of the force when you're typing on it, and this stand offers nothing to hold up that front part, you're relying on the metal curves on the back not to flex at all, but they inevitably do.I ended up sending it back and purchasing a stand which offers support both to the front and back of the laptop (the "elago L4 Stand") and I could not be happier with it--it doesn't budge a single mm when I apply force to the top of the laptop!

Great stand, holds my laptop securely at eye level. Assembles quickly, but is easy enough to take apart that I wouldn't mind traveling with it regularly. I appreciate the rubber grips to both hold my laptop in place and keep the stand from sliding on my desk. I also like being able to store my wireless keyboard underneath the laptop when I need the space on my desk.Note that I'm not trying to type on my laptop while it's on the stand, like some reviewers, so I can't speak to sturdiness in that regard. It feels a little unstable for those purposes, if you're planning to actually rest your wrists on the laptop.

This is a good stand for the price paid. It is easy to assemble (no screws or bolts) but that does leave it not locked in place. It is secure enough to trust my computer on it but I would prefer if it could be screwed or bolted to be complete. This is why it's sturdiness is 4/5 stars.The open bottom design allows my laptop (Dell XPS 13) to cool well and brings the screen to a height that is better for my posture.

I love the look of it with my work and personal laptop on it. Its a super clean design with a simple slide in assembly and ready to go. One thing that could have area of improvement is when typing it does shake a bit, especially noticeable when I'm in a zoom meeting and typing. Its something noticeable, but nothing too bothersome. I believe I only really noticed it once I saw it during my zoom meeting. otherwise I wouldn't have noticed it as much.Overall I'd highly recommend this product.

Like others have mentioned it can be a little wobbly. I use an external keyboard which to me seems like the best way to make use of this stand. I really like the attention to detail in the packaging and the design. It's world's apart from the other generic chinese made aluminum stands that are sold by multiple vendors on here because it's clear that with this product, there are excellent and sufficient quality control measures. Not like the previous Orionstar stand I bought that I had to return.

Great stand that saves lots of desk space! As a college student, this stand helps my neck, and clears my desk so i have room for books. Also the space between the plastic and the back fits my keyboard perfectly. I will address the bouncing that people are complaining about though. Typing on your laptop keyboard is not very comfortable when the laptop is elevated up 5 inches, so I recommend just using a separate keyboard with this stand. With my Dell XPS 15 which is a laptop that weighs around 4.4 pounds, the stand does wobble a fair bit when I type on the laptop itself but nothing too crazy. Overall, a great product and suits my needs perfectly!
