Does this battery tester work with AA Litium batteries?

I am not sure if I am correct but I would think it would not matter whether the batteries are lithium as long as they are AA or AAA. It is a great battery tester otherwise.

why does it say ? don't powered by rechargeable battery nor test rechargeable batteries

I do not know why it says that but the batteries that I test are not rechargeable so have not had a problem.
