I have been through two screens. First the touch did not work, so I had to get it replaced now this one, I get all the way to the end everything seems to be great and I have the adhesive ready to stick. And the corner cracks. My frame is not bent or dented, there was no extreme or even hard pressure, I simply laid down the screen easy as always and it cracked. I am over having to take apart this iPad time and time again for a faulty screen. I did not even take off the front screen plastic until I was ready to lay it down there is zero excuse for the screen to break!! Buy something else. And the warranty it says it extends if you sign up for - I still haven’t see my email for that. I wasted my time, and money and now I should have just never opted for the first replacement!! I have change many many screens and never had this issue either.

It was easy to use

Product was delivered fine. Worked fine till some bonehead (that would be me),tried to move screen a little straighter. Screen cracked. Totally my fault. Ordered another one and was extra careful. Good to go.

My feelings are mixed. The up side is this is a low cost fix for a broken digitizer. However, it was just a year later when we realized parts of the screen were no longer working. Basically a 3/4" wide strip from the top to the bottom about 1/3rd of the way to the long edge of the screen just stopped working. So a year later I'm going to replace the screen again.If the screen didn't need to be replaced again I would probably give this a 4. It's clearly not to Apple standards. The colors don't look as good thanks to the lack of what ever coatings Apple applies to their glass. I can't say if the finger tracking is as good as it used to be but rather than looking like an "Apple quality" display it looks like a discount tablet in terms of black levels etc. Hard to describe but you know it when you see it.I debated giving it 1 or 2 stars because mine quit working but perhaps most buyers won't be as unlucky and if they aren't then this is a cheap way to mostly fix a broken iPad screen.

It was a challenge removing the broken glass, please wear gloves if you can and want to, I put on some tight rubber gloves and took about 2hrs to replace screen I was not in the rush, I wanted to make sure I got right the first time, I kept my original home button I can still use my touch ID, dust and clean it well, Be patient when placing and aligning the new glass screen on so it won't crack on you, the screen touch works great, no dead zones, I didn't add no extra adhisive which is needed but I just added electric tape on the sides to secure the screen and place it in a child proof case and so far very good, Ipad works like brand new.
