I am sure this item will work but when I installed it did not come on. The furnace people are coming next wek Nov. 30 -- Hoping they can get it to work

It was easy to change and appears to work well. The product was very well packaged and the the arrived as promised. The cost was a fraction of the amount the AC charged

Made in China
Just received for the first time. - US law requires that each foreign made product must clearly show its country of origin. Only reading reviews one can know that the lamps are made in China bcs it's not indicated anywhere, neither on the lamp nor on the packing.It looks cheap and the description is incorrect bcs the diameter is 1" and not 0.5". So it's not T3 either.It is unlikely that it is OEM PREMIUM QUALITY COMPATIBLE bcs the seller speaks of 1 year durability while the real OEM time is about 2 years.

Seems like a good replacement for an Ultravation Bulb
While it is not exactly the same, when you consider the cost difference between this bulb and the ultravation bulb, using this one is a no brainer. Note that the original bulb has a ring that glows. This replacement does not. Some have complained about this bulb being wider. We had no problem fitting this bulb into a ten year old ultravation bracket. I have no easy way to test that this is giving off effective UV light — assuming it does this is a winner.

Did not work in my AC
I ordered this for my AC to replace the UV bulb, this glass tube is wider, and it does not work. Very disappointed. The AS-IH-1001 IS THE CORRECT #, I CALLED THE MANUFACTURER, THEY SAID THEY DO "NOT" SELL THIS PRODUCT ON AMAZON, I WASTED $34.99, VERY DISAPPOINTED.
