Bemis1500EC 006 Toilet Seat, Bone, Elongated

I got this a few days ago and love it. It is solid and sturdy. I thought that it would be hard to fit but did myself with not much effort. One thing is the wing nut on the screw that attaches the seat to the toilet is a little wide, I solved the problem by trimming the nut with nail clippers; this may well be different on other toilets as they could have a slightly different toilet bowl, still managed to get the seat on properly and all is well that ends well

Intended as replacement for our existing toilet seats.The colour is wrong and the pitch of the holes not correct.They do not fit.Have been returned via ups.

Why? When disigning this toilets easy clean hinge design to just pop out they totally missed on how it would lock and unlock! It's plastic, so it just doesn't stay in place. I am disabled and have to use a wheelchair, but I can still transfer myself, it has popped out so many times I could sceam, but what has pushed me to warn people is because it happening when I was getting up and it threw me off balance and I body slammed the ceramic tile on the floor, I managed to crawl up into my wheelchair, but it could have been much worse. It happened a second time landing me on my knees, not good at all as I have a serious types of arthritis, and a spine that is advanced degerative disk disease. So you either have to take them off the shelves or send each person who has bought one replacement hinges.

Never imagined myself giving a review on a toilet seat, but here I am with pictures of my lovely new throne seat. After breaking my cheap old plastic seat which came with the toilet, I had to take the plunge to purchase a new seat after pinching the back of my leg on the old crack seat which made me cringe in pain, I’m not kidding folks, my eyes were tearing up, that was it, off to Amazon I came in search of a new seat, a throne seat with wonderful reviews and a pretty pink to match my soft pretty pink curtains.How excited I was to receive my beautiful new seat, which not only matches my curtains, but so easy to install, sturdy, and the seat is comfy.With all that being said, I recommend this product and I find wood to be warmer than plastic seats, another plus.

El diseño es muy bonito. Sin embargo, el mío tiene una rebaba que lastima a veces al sentarse. Otro problema fueron las tuercas; pero hice lo que recomiendan en los comentarios y las corté para que dieran vuelta - de esa manera fue muy sencillo instalarlo. Actualización: a la semana noté una mancha y me di cuenta de que la pintura se había dañado. Es sumamente delicado y no es práctico para el uso que requiere. Definitivamente no lo volveré a comprar!!!
