Q: Why aren't the miligrams listed? is this the now foods graviola that is 1 gram or 1,000 miligrams?

1000mg per serving which is 2 capsules. each cpsule is 500mg. si?

Q: Soursop/Graviola contains alkaloids and annonacin which are neurotoxins, and is linked to Parkinsons. Are these removed during manufacturing?

I emailed Now Foods because I was concerned about the exact same question you asked. This is the response I received from them........I think it's very safe to take. Thank you for contacting NOW Foods. We are well aware of the potential safety concerns about Graviola. The leaves from which our Graviola is derived, contains annonaceous acetogenin levels many times lower than the safe level, and is not associated with the Parkinson’s like tremors reported in some Caribbean natives who have eaten the fruit for perhaps 20+ years. We believe there is an ample safety margin when taken according to label suggested amounts. The average concentration of annonacin extracted from leaves is ~308 mg/kg. Hence a daily use of 4 grams of NOW® Graviola leaf supplement would provide an estimated 1.2 mg/day annonacin, which is 36-fold lower than the human equivalent dose calculated from the rat I.V. study. NOW® Graviola can be considered safe based on the low amount of annonacin that can be ingested from the suggested use and lack of adverse events. Thank you, Sarah

Q: How much graviola is actually in product?

There are 100 capsules in the bottle. The capsules are filled with graviola. The capsules are large. I cannot swallow them. I have to open them and put it in applesauce.
