Great sticks.
Durable, warm sound on the cymbals from the wood tips. Well balanced. The pioneer!I used to use The Japanese Oak but my rim shots were cracking the sticks. The oak didn't have the same forgiveness the softer hickory does.

I love Vic Firth's 5A. They are by far my number one choice, but in this 6-pair package I received one that simply broke after 2 shows and I'm not a hard hitter at all. The other five are in great condition and shape!
