Creative Haven Birds and Blossoms Coloring Book

Not for beginners.I used gel pens for this picture. Some of the spaces are tight, but if you aren't in a rush that shouldn't be a problem. This pic took me ALL DAY and part of the next. But this is what I do because I want that kind of attention to detail.Pages tear out relatively well. No bleedthrough.Recommend. The balance of flowers is just right to add enough colour that isn't the same colours as your bird. I still need to outline but this is just finished.Recommend.

Livro lindíssimo com desenhos maravilhosos! O papel é levemente grosso, mas não sei se recomendo usar aquarela; As folhas são destacáveis, o que é ótimo; Tem um desenho por folha, então não tem problema se manchar a parte de trás; Recomendo usar uma folha de acetato embaixo do desenho se for usar canetinha para não correr risco de manchar as outras páginas caso não destaque a folha.

Beautiful designs, nice variety of birds & flowers.

I have nearly all of Marjorie Sarnat's books, even two or three of some that I have also bought at the store near my house. I've also given these books to my daughter and my granddaughters. They are fun to color in, the art isn't to big cuz I love the smaller stuff to color. But not so intricate that it would drive you crazy. I ordered this Birds and Blossoms from Amazon then I found it first at the store near my house so I bought it even though I'm expected the one I pre ordered way back in November sometime today. LOL I guess I couldn't wait. As usual its a beautiful book...I wish she had one with more birdhouses but this one is great anyway. It will be fun to color in. I'm going to preorder her other one that is coming out...its one with Mermaids. Love them all. Keep them coming cuz I don't just stop at one purchase!! LOL Great books!! She had one out, the FIRST Fanciful Fashions book but I didn't get it in time and I haven't seen it since. I really wish she would print some more of that one. I would love to have it!! Beau livre de coloriages avec de magnifiques fleurs et oiseaux, j'adore. Pour le papier, j'ai essayé avec les crayons de couleurs, c'est impeccable. Pas encore essayé avec les feutres, mais comme il n'y a qu'un dessin par page (pas de dessin recto verso), pas de soucis. Pour l'aquarelle, le papier n'est pas suffisamment épais surtout si vous mouillez beaucoup le papier, mais j'essaierai tout de même car j'aime trop ce livre ! Livraison effectuée dans les délais prévus, tout parfait, très contente de mon achat !
