Sturdy, comfortable and easy to clean
I use it it for my daily meditation since 5 months already and it still keeps its shape.

Great bolster!!
I love this bolster!!! It is the perfect size and provides a great amount of support. The cushioning is just firm enough and not bulky. This is the first bolster I have ever owned, only ever used ones in class. It has allowed me to really enjoy home yin classes.

Great yoga/stretching prop
Simple pillow that provides perfect support for restorative yoga or stretching. I've used a rolled up yoga mat in a class before (vertically oriented under the back), but this provides more even support for a deep shoulder stretch. Recommend, especially for people who sit at a desk all day.

Medium firmness
This is specifically for the RECTANGULAR bolster. I already have a bolster by Ajna which is very, very nice (and frankly, better made than the Manduka), but it's SO firm that it's uncomfortable for certain restorative yoga poses. So I had been shopping for a backup/slightly softer bolster for a while. Gaiam was the obvious choice, but all the RECENT reviews make it clear that Gaiam is sending out a lumpy mess right now. I wanted to give Hugger Mugger a try, but it lacks a washable cover. So I ended up with the Manduka. It does have the extra 'give' I was looking for. So much so that you might have problems using it for certain setups like stonehenge, depending on the amount of weight it needs to support. The cover is nice (and machine washable).I knocked a star off because it's (IMO) overpriced by about twenty bucks for what you get.

Wonderful product! Glad I bought it!
This product was a perfect addition to my practice. I love being able to do more restorative yoga poses at home. It’s incredibly soft and light weight. I have very limited storage space and it fits great in my small closet. Love that the cover is removable and washable.

Restorative and great for meditation.
My restorative yoga class showed me how to use a bolster to phenomenal effect. I liked it so much that I ordered this Manduka bolster for my home. I seem to find myself curling up with it and falling straight asleep. It’s firm – not squishy – and with incredibly soft fabric. I like the dark colored cover because it seems like that’s more practical for daily use in the long run. I saw that earlier reviews about how firm are squishy it was. Everybody has their own taste and sense of the world around them so it’s worth taking the time if you can just try it and decide for yourself.

Very comfortable and effective.
The Manduka enlighten yoga bolster is soft enough to sit on but not too soft that you sink in. It’s supportive. It is made well and appreciate that you can easily remove the covering to launder.

This Is NOT The Firm Dense Type Of Bolster You'd Find In Yoga Studios
While this isn't a "bad" bolster, I was looking for one that was like the ones most yoga studios use. The firm, denser, larger, rectangular ones. This bolster has a "firm" pillow stuffed in it, which means it isn't the sturdy type of bolster I (and probably others) are used to. It's rather soft, doesn't support body weight (meaning it compresses down too much) and I can fold it in half. While this may work for some, just be aware it's really a pillow with a heavy canvas type cover. This bolster is absolutely not the same firmness or quality that you'd find in a typical yoga studio.Had to return it. Bought a Hugger Mugger bolster instead.
