Had to pay $13 to return this. Will not work without special tools/software.
A total waste of time and money. The return process was terrible and had me pay $13 to return it. Better of ordering from the dealer as the key needs to be programmed to your vin or it will not be able to pair easily to your car as shown in many youtube videos.

worked for 2011 BMW x3 f25 with keyless push-start
Just received it today. Amazing bang for the buck. Key has a nice, heavy, quality feel in hand.I can only confirm it works for my 2011 BMW x3 35i f25 with keyless start.I'm not a locksmith, but I have access to an Autel im608 machine, I was able to program it (as a second key) in under 5 mins.

Works well with my BMW 528i.
Got it programed by a locksmith and works like a charm. I also purchased a case and emblem sticker for it and loving it. Bought my car with one key and made this a copy and I'm satisfied.

Doesn’t work. Used key fob.
Does not work. I would have returned in the window allotted but after unsuccessfully trying to program took to BMW, they kept my car for 2wks (ironically bc they lost my actual key fob) and then couldn’t program this one. Was also told it was a refurbished key fob that was wiped therefore this wasn’t even a new key fob.

Great Value
I was able to program my BMW x3 with the keys. I needed to purchase special equipment, but it was cheaper than having a locksmith or BMW program 2 keys.

A worthless purchase

You will still need to take the FOB to be programmed by a Lock smith
The FOB seems to be well built. Looks good and looks durable.. But you will still need to take the FOB to be programmed by a Lock smith. I had imagined that this FOB can be programmed by the method of tapping on your steering column while using the existant FOB. Customer service responds but they cant locate the proper automobile locksmith in your Town. You will need to find the locksmith on your own.

Seems to be a nice replacement key fob but it has to be programmed and cut witch will be expensive unless you know someone ...
