long under-quilt
This is a great value-priced under quilt for hammock camping from summer to early fall conditions. It does not provide very wide coverage, but is longer than most under-quilts I've used. It appears to be a decent full length quilt to cover 9 foot long hammocks. I'm 6 foot tall, 210lbs, and it covered me entirely, and adequately, including the foot box area.I used this for 3 summer nights in temperatures as low as (surprisingly and unexpectedly) 48F/9C in Algonquin Park, Canada during our August 2017 canoe trip. This is about as low as I would take this quilt in real-world temperatures and weather conditions. Wind plays a big factor in sapping heat from the under-side for hammocks. The weather conditions during our backwoods trip included heavy to moderate thunderstorms for two days, with decent winds. Setup was on a Hennessy bottom opening velcro closure style hammock. As I normally do, I was fully dressed with wool socks on, when preparing to go to sleep. I used it together with only a Mountain Hardware Hotbed Ember Camp Quilt for the top cover (very pleased with that product also -- this is definitely my new go-to top quilt for hammocking!)The simple and really convenient 1/8" bungee cord attachment on one end did snap after the 3rd evening from over stretching, probably since the under-quilt needs to be re-positioned after entering this style of hammock. The under-quilt needs to be temporarily stretched further to tuck it underneath your sagging body weight after you get into the hammock--given the bottom style entry.Even with this minor inconvenience/issue, I overall liked and enjoyed using this under-quilt as it maintains good steady temperatures throughout the night and blocks moderate winds well. I normally use a much better quality down-filled under-quilt (jacks-r-better), but wanted to try this synthetic insulation under-quilt out for my young daughter's hammock setup, since she would undoubtedly treat the under-quilt roughly.I purchased this under-quilt outright, on my own, and would have returned it if it did not work well during my real-world performance tests. I would say it is kid-proof and very simple to setup. Thankfully, it proved its worth, and I will definitely be keeping it.I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Worked well with a Snugpak Jungle Hammock which is single wide
Today I tried the Kindle under a new Snugpak Jungle Hammock with Mosquito net. It was 40 degrees. It was warm and I was able to get a good flat lay in the hammock and still be covered by the underquilt. Compared with two other underquilts I tried, one a DIY one, this one was the warmest and easiest to mount. So I have upgraded my rating. As a disclaimer, this is the first underquilt I have purchased so cannot compare it. It is easy to set up and fits over my ENO DoubleNest hammock perfectly. The only issue I see is that due to the fact that it tapers quickly from the center toward the end of the hammock it doesn't seem to me you can lay diagonally in it. That might not be an issue if it was 3/4 length or something as you could supplement your "overhanging feet" with a pad or something but this seems to catch your feet at the ankles or so. Perhaps someone else with more experience can explain how to make it work. Quality looks good and it fits perfectly otherwise.

Worked great keeping me warm
I bought this for a winter camping trip to lost maples state park here in TX. it was in early december and temps got down to about 35 where i was at.. Worked great keeping me warm, in the past hammock camping in cooler weather, the portion of your body on bottom of hammock is freezing. this pretty much solved my issues!!

Not as warm as advertised, but should be good for nights that only get down to the 50's or 60's.
Price was right , but not nearly as warm as advertised. Had it for a few months before I got the chance to take it out and use it. Had it out this weekend and woke up in the middle of the night shaking in the cold ... 38°F with 5-10 mph winds near the Guadalupe River in Texas. I was sleeping inside a fairly heavy sleeping bag inside the hammock, but i guess I left too much faith in the under quilt. I will keep it for those nights in the 50's and 60's but will have to figure something else out for cooler temps. The second night I put a wool blanket under the sleeping bag, wore thermals, pants, sweatshirt and a down jacket, plus a fleece balaclava and slept fine, but I feel like that was way too much stuff to sleep with in the upper 30s when the under quilt itself is rated down to 40 according to advertising.

Awesome Underquilt!
Love this for my hammock underquilt, for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a down underquilt this is one of the best alternatives. Had it down to 32 degrees and was still pretty comfortable. I use this with a snugpak topquilt. Extremely easy to set up, I have 2 nite ize #2 carabiners on there and it just clips on to my suspension. A little bulky but less bulky that the snugpak underquilt, and way less complicated. Will be using it here in a week or so and looking forward to it!

Kept me toasty for two nights at ~40 degrees
Spent the weekend hammock camping in North Florida, and I was skeptical that this would be warm enough for me in my hammock. Granted, I was still in a 20 degree sleeping bag, but the mixture of both this underquilt and my sleeping bag was perfect. Sleeping in thermal underwear, the only thing that was cold was my face.Took me two seconds to set up, and it packs down nicely. Obviously, there are more expensive underquilts that pack down a little smaller, but for the price, I would definitely buy this one again.I would definitely recommend this, if you’re looking to buy an underquilt for your hammock setup.

Good stuff
Used it this weekend it was nice and kept me warm when there was an unexpected mini rain and wind storm. The only thing I don't like is the fasteners are not the best I had to tie a knot to keep them from sliding but that's an easy minor fix overall very happy with this purchase.
