Fantastic reel

Own many Daiwa reels and the new Revros LT is the smoothest, best performing reels Daiwa has ever offered. Never saw much difference in previous models, regardless of cost, but the Revros LT in in a whole different class. Be aware, unlike the other LT series reels, the Revros has the shallow spool and line capacity will be different than the other LT series reels. I prefer the shallow spool as the line does not coil tightly and there is no wasted line capacity. Probably the best spinning reel for the cost on the market today and well worth the premium over the less expensive Daiwas.

I buy $30-100 reels for kayak fishing. I rinse every trip, lube about once a week and when they start to get funky take them apart and clean/oil/grease as needed. I generally get at least a year, often a couple out of these inexpensive reels. I fish every day, 30 hours a week.This reels started squeaking on the first trip. The second it started to make a much more robust grinding noise. The third trip it started locking up.This 3000 Revros LT is absolutely the worst reel I have ever bought, a total waste of money.
