Ks2 Maths Study Book

I was never good at maths in school and never learned the basics, so I bought all of CGP's maths books for Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, and GCSE -- I now have all of their study guides, workbooks, etc. This Key Stage 2 book, and the higher level maths books, makes learning maths so easy that I can't understand how I struggled so much at school. I'm now so confident in my ability to do maths that I'm now studying for courses and jobs I never thought I would ever submit an application for. These CGP books saved my life.

This KS2 Maths Study book is absolutely brilliant. It covers everything which is in the curriculam for Year 4 in an "easy to understand" manner.There are seven sections:- Numbers. Calculations. Fractions, Decimals & Percentages. Ratio, Proportion & Algebra. Measure. Geometry. Statistics.At the end of each module there is a short Sat style test.Each module is displayed in a very interesting way, which makes study more fun and easier to understanand. My Grandson who is currently in Year 4 loves working with it.

I sometimes forget that this book is aimed at school children. To me the content is basic.I have tried to help mine by getting these books for them.Whether it helps can only be told at the end of the term reports and year end reports.Trying to practically help by showing them how to do things gets you screamed at "Dad, that isn't how they teach us to do those type of calculations!" so I am swiftly put in my place.

This has been helping my child to understand the topics much more easily. My child's confidence and understanding has grown and its all thanks to the authors who really provide the skills and tools. Absolutely fantastic.

Helps to plug in any gaps at the end of ks2. Great for kids who have been homeschooled prior to high school.
