Good medium to enhance the flow of acrylic paint, also slows drying time.
Liquitex flow medium is good way to enhance the workability and spread of of acrylic paint.I t also slows drying process and gives and even sheen, which is kind of compares to eggshell for wall paint. Mostly paint with oil but I love this product and a drop or two goes a long way.

Helps with acrylic painting
I bought this product to help improve the quality of the cheap acrylic paints I bought. I paint miniatures and would need several coats of acrylic paint to get the desired painted look. With the matte medium, it only requires 1 or 2 coats and compares to hobby paint. I am a beginner, so this has made it so I don't need to spend too much on expensive paints at this time.

Liquitex is the bomb
I love how Liquitex Matte Acrylic Medium works. It dries very flat, and it doesn't yellow nor does it become brittle over time. Liquitex and Golden are my go-to for acrylic products, and I love the way their products work. If you buy this stuff by the gallon, as I do, just be sure to have some smaller bottles to divide this gallon of matte medium into. It'll last a lot longer in storage in smaller quantities. If you are using it quickly enough, you can leave it in the gallon tub, but otherwise, I divide it into 8 and 16 oz. bottles, and it lasts for a long time with no thickening or evaporation because you aren't exposing it all to air every time you use it
