Scam; damaged and overpriced vis-à-vis the MRP
Two problems. First, the book was damaged; pen marks on the cover along with tears and dents, damaged spine and frayed and creased pages. Second, the book was overpriced i.e not in terms of its real value compared to the monetary value but the fact that it said ₹925 on the back and was sold to me for ₹1200. Very disappointing. Again, this rating is not for the book and its merit but for my experience as a buyer.

A roller-coaster of magic, mythology, adventure and UFO!
the book packed full of every interesting things you could expect for a good science-fiction book, although a sense of something "real", or "more real than real", permeate the whole adventure. Those who are not familiar with Mckenna's work or haven't had these experiences through the use of hallucinogen might dismiss this as another piece of New Age nonsense. But whether it's true or not, and i believe that it's true, or "true enough", this tale is bound to send a thrill along your spine as it becomes stranger and stranger until it reaches the point of pure irrationality. There are also some philosophical pieces splintered across the book that might make you contemplate for good. His writing is also clear and readable.

Fascinating and Entertaining
The literary approach Terence took in the story was beautifully done. This story adds another dimension to Terence's improvisational contemplations that is well worth exploring.
