Xtech Portable Dehumidifier with 50 oz Removable Water Tank eliminates Odor, Bacteria, Fungus, Prevent Mould and Mildew Build up

I liked this little dehumidifier, although I did question about it feeling hot when I first got it. I was assured that it was normal and working properly. I put it in service, using it since the first of June. Two days ago, it quit!! Dead! Plugged it in another outlet, dead!! $80.00 for 4-5 months of service? Really??Hot Deals has replaced this product with no charge, I was pleasantly surprised that they would do this! I now have my new one and it is humming away! Would highly recommend Hot Deals because they stood behind their product! I will be shopping with them again!!Now it is July, 2017, and it has died!! I contacted Hot Deals again, they said they had already replaced it once, no offers of any more help! I think an $ 85 dehumidifier should last more than a year. Probably won't be buying another xtech or dealing with hot deals anymore!!

This product only good for one small room, but, BEWARE, it only lasted for 6 months. We used it in our weekend cabin. We do not have air conditioning in the cabin during the summer so we ran this dehumidifier to keep the moisture out of our bedroom.

This thing sucks. I would have returned it except I wrecked the box. I ran this after my basement flooded. Ran it for a week and it had about 1 tbsp of water in it. Meanwhile for the other one I bought (same brand as carried at Home Depot) for the adjacent room, same humidity level, I had to change the bucket every hour or so. Dont waste your money.

The device in between the plug and where you plug it into the dehumidifier FRIED! I was cleaning my house and realized it had melted down almost to a crisp. If I wouldn’t have noticed it, if could have burned down my entire home! Not a satisfied customer! Mind you I’ve only had it a few weeks and I didn’t even plug it in til a week after I got it! Total waste of money. Not to mention it barely removed any air from the room. But most importantly I’m worried out my safety and how this product could have taken my kids.

For a small room, it works great. It is quiet, but occasionally when I put the tray back in it makes really loud growling sounds until I refit the tray.An update: It completely died after about three months. I have also found that it works great in slightly damp rooms, but in heavily humid (>75%) rooms it is somewhat less effective due to its small size.

This humidifier worked for 2 1/2 months. The first time the bucket was completely filled the machine stopped working. For the money I spent for this product, I should never have a problem (at least not this soon) I will never ever buy a this brand again.

this product makes a huge difference in our camper & saves us money because we're no longer blowing through damp rid containers.
