These are even better than I expected and will bring me so much distracting happiness at work. The ears move, the heads tilt just a little, they have different little faces and the tail clicks the pen in and out. They seem to have a hard time getting started to write but once they get going mostly they write well, I love the thin gel ink.Update 1/29/20 this just popped up on my Amazon and it occurred to me that these pens continue to bring me joy and happiness! The one I used the most, lost his ears (poor pup) but just over a year later and these pens are my go to and have not disappointed. I gifted one to a friend and it's her favorite pen too.

These pens are the thing. I ordered a set for work and coworkers began going crazy over them—I finally shared out my whole package and had to order a second. They became all the rage. Two more coworkers then ordered their own sets and one ordered the dogs and shared those out. I haven’t seen anything like this since Beany Babies in elementary school! I think there must be a hundred cat and dog pens circulating in my organization right now. If only I could get a commission! TIP: there is a tiny clear cap at the end of the pen that you have to pop off with a fingernail—it keeps the ink from drying out. (I almost returned the pens thinking they were dried out.)

I love these pens so much! They allow you to write so small (I love 5mm pens). I almost think they improve my writing a little better because they write so thin. I always get so many compliments on them whenever I take one out to use it. I have bought about 3 boxes now and gave a few to my friends and my RVT teachers at school.The only reason I give it 4 stars is because sometimes the ink doesn’t come out as smooth and when your trying to write it skips around if that make sense. Some of them die prematurely even tho there is still ink inside. And the cat heads always come off for me, I don’t know why. You can mix and match the colors and take the bodies and heads off to switch them around which is cool. Overall they are the first pen I reach for. And clicking the tail up and down is kind of fun and distracting lol also the faces smudge off after a while.I definitely recommend these pens for all the cat lovers out there. The little faces on the cats are adorable.

These are so cute, and the ink is very dark and great for writing or drawing. The price is also very good. They were on sale at Hot Topic for $5 each! I have purchased a total of 36 of these pens to give away to volunteers, and 1 arrived broken and missing the spring, and 2 broke within hours in different ways (one right in the middle where it screws together, and one lost the kitty's head), but for the price I would definitely buy again. Everyone I have gifted them to has been delighted! I'd like to see a pack with only black and white kitties. They have been the most popular design so far.

Adorable little pens. Good jell writers! I gave away most of them and the recipients loved them! However I did not give a high score in the "Giftable" category simply because they did not come in envelopes or containers specifically as presentation vehicles. Also they were all in a plastic bag, so they were not a "special" presentation. However they are nice little pens. My only warning is that if you want to keep them in a purse or bag, the tails do depress very easily so you would likely encounter stains! I still like them none the less!
