Coffee on the keyboard and I thought I survived it after carefully cleaning and drying the original. But the keyboard slowly deteriorated to the point it was not functional. This replacement keyboard took a little time to ship and is not an exact HP replica but I would say 95% accurate. So if you need all the secondary function keys. maybe this is not the solution for you. But if you are basic letters, numbers and all the other obvious keys, this is a great solution for a great price. Also tip for interim fix, you can disconnect the damaged laptop keyboard (see you tube) and plug in a regular desktop keyboard to use while you wait for shipment.

This keyboard worked perfectly as a replacement keyboard for my laptop. I don't know its model number, since it was just listed as "Pavilion 15" on Futureshop's website when I bought it in 2013, and the laptop itself doesn't seem to have a model number written anywhere, but thankfully the previous reviewer's pink laptop looked similar to mine so I assumed it would be compatible with mine too.There are slight differences I notice between the old keyboard and this replacement keyboard. See my attached photo with the old keyboard detached to see what I mean. Overall, I completely prefer the changes, notably the wider left shift key and wider tab key.
