I have done commercial gillnetting for 15 years and I can tell you one thing that sets all gillnets apart.
Here is my review. To start with I have done commercial gillnetting for 15 years and I can tell you one thing that sets all gillnets apart. It is how the mesh is attached to the top and the bottom of the rope, top with floats bottom with weights. Mesh other than the actual size of the holes is almost the same for lake fish. Most cheap Chinese nets are attached to a single really this string that is soft and gets entangled in the webbing of the net. All professional nets have stiff and much thicker rope which makes it easier to set the net fast and without snags. This particular net is close to the professional level, it has two stiff ropes with weights and floats in between yet it comes at a fraction of a cost of the professionally made net. Wish it was longer, more like 150 yards. With daily use in the lakes, you will get about two years of use out of it. This gillnet is perfect for targeting Walleye and pike approximately 4 to 5-pound range. Because this is a 3 layer net it will catch bigger fish too yet it will be harder to remove them due to how they wrap themselves in. If you wish to target bigger fish you should get a larger mesh about 6x6cm.Feel free to ask questions.

Horrible.
I come from a family that fishes every weekend. We use spears, fishing poles, throw nets, and gill nets regularly. I have used these types of nets my whole life and I have never seen a net tangle so bad after 1 use in calm waters.I layed the net correctly in a calm and slow moving side river, little to no rocks on the riverbed, and in only 5 to 6 feet deep water. I have fished that exact spot with other similar nets for years. The net kept flapping up because the weights on the bottom line are not heavy enough to keep it down. I didn't catch any fish because the bottom of the net kept flapping and floating upwards. I watched the fishes swim right under the net. I removed the net slowly to avoid tangling while I followed the line to fold it little by little... because it kept flapping up it tangled in many different areas on the line. The tangles were so bad that I had to cut it.I am very disappointed and will never order this again. I don't recommend it.

Store in bucket and best in still or slow water.
My 1st one worked very well, caught a bunch of carp and bass that destroyed the net by twisting while one end was secured only with a rock weight and gallon bottle. I cut the bad part off and used the rest 2nd time, but ruined the net because I tried wrapping it around a pool noodle secured with zip ties. the float line kept poking through the eyelets and tangled the whole net beyond repair.I bought a 2nd one. And this time I wised up:1) Pull it out neatly and drop into a 5-gallon bucket, keeping the floats on one side and lead the other. Pull out ONLY as far as you need. I barely used 30 ft and the carps came tugging already.2) Keep the lines TIGHT by securing both ends to either shore or heavy weight / big float secured with strong line on the open end.3) Retrieve the caught fish ASAP. The longer they are in the net, the more TANGLED they will be and harder to remove.4) use another net basket to lay the fish in, then PUSH the fish forward through the net to free it. You may have to rip a few eyes but this is UNAVOIDABLE.5) Retrieved the net NEATLY into the bucket and remove twigs, branches, debris from the net. You may have to break the pieces smaller to avoid ripping/tangling the net.6) Best for slow or still waters. The river destroyed part of my first net because too much debris got caught in it I'd rather cut that part of 30 ft or so and use the rest rather than repair/remove debris.Good luck. This net works AWESOME when used properly.

Great for occasional users
Great for the price! The floats could be bigger, the weights could be heavier, but for me who will only use it 3 or 4 times a year it'll do just fine. Caught a lot of gizzard shad this weekend with it. Make sure you open the package and unpack the net before taking it on your boat- it's wrapped up very complicated for shipping and it takes some time to untangle. Bring a 5 gal bucket the first time and use that for storage- it'll never fit back in the container it came with. After you do a couple of sets with it, it'll lay in the bucket right and come out without a problem. It is a little difficult to get the fish out of the net, especially larger fish so you end up having to cut it sometimes. These cuts cause little tangles but overall it is still very functional. I'll be buying another soon.
