I have a loose natural curl in my hair and it gets weighed down very easily. This foam is still really light but gives a very slight cast. Nice hold but soft. It doesn’t feel heavy on my hair or weight it down. Light and airy and let’s me get good root volume. I bought the travel size first, but I’ll definitely buy the full size when this runs out!This is like a foam mousse. Mousse is very easy to go overboard cause you’re not sure how much your getting out, and you waste prices. This is really nice cause you have much more control over how much you’re getting out. When you rub it between your hands it still definitely feels like there’s product on your hands but not as thick as a gel, but not just thin like your hands are wet. Scent is pleasant without being too strong or overpowering.

Great firm hold w/out drying out locs or making them hard. Spritzed w/water & rubbed a good amount in my hands & applied to slightly moistened hair. Set on soft rods & let dry overnight. Curls were bouncy & full of body. Also, the scent is amazing. Curls lasted really well. Pic is after I got caught in the rain, so it looked much better than this. Even after rain, some curls are still hanging on!!!! Definitely recommend!!! 10/10!!

So, I bought this because Biolage has been out of stock all summer of their hydra foam styler mousse I love so much. I gave this a shot because of the reviews and while I super love the smell, it drys so stiff and crunchy in my hair. It does hold my hairs wavy curls for 3 days, which is rather impressive! I don't need to reapply much, either. Usually I get 2 good days with my usual stuff. But I just can't get over how dry and crunchy my hair feels. It's not soft or as hydrated as I'm used to. I like my hair to be flexible, this kinda does the opposite for me. I have naturally dry hair so it's not ideal. I even tried using Living Proof leave in conditioner prior to the mousse but it didn't do much to help with the crunchy dryness. I think I'd really love this stuff if it just had a bit more hydration power. It was worth a try and I'll still use the rest of what I bought, but I'll be returning to my Biolage once they restock.

1. They wrapped it in cling wrap and sent it in an envelope. When I got it it had spilled inside the cling wrap and the cap was off.2. If I wanted liquid conditioner I would have bought liquid conditioner. But no, I wanted hair mousse. This is not hair mousse and shouldn't be described as such. If I'm not mistaken Amazon doesn't look kindly upon misleading product description. Now it is possible that due to the bottle being messed up due to improper packaging this MIGHT come out as mousse. It just doesn't for me.3. I actually used it. Carefully diffusing it throughout the hair. Just a little bit of product. Result: hair feels super-dirty and grimy and greasy, it didn't "reinforce curls" it got the hair all puffed up with frizzy practically almost straight strands. On top of that hair looks dull and fried.

This product is simply amazing. I was recycling my curls from the previous day, and mind you I do not have naturally curly hair. Nor do I have a perm yet... I set my hair using the Robert carruso steam Rollers and the next day I brushed them out and then just tried a little and scrunched my hair a tiny bit and my curls were revitalized. Transformed! Like muscle memory in my hair follicle. I am native and have super straight thick hair and keeping my hair curled has been a life long struggle. To see my hair transform, literally the curls were reanimated like magic or hair voodoo or who do or some other mystical happening occurs with this little elixir! I'm sure it's more science-y than that but isn't all science just magic defined and explained? I love this product and at the price you cannot beat it! I am off to discover the entire line and you should too!!
