Cumple con su objetivo que es darte una idea de como mejorar tu forma de expresarte en publico y de mantener a tu audiencia, ideal si eres lider o si debes llevar un pequeño equipo de trabajo, la presentación del libro muy buena y la redaccion hace amena la lectura.

I have been a fan of the 18 Min TED talk videos, which not only give astonishing insights on numerous topics and which lead me to find of interesting reads (like Susan Cains „Quiet“). But do not get me wrong, „talk like TED“ is not a loose summary of the most important (read: watched) TED videos, Mr. Gallo takes a deep analysis why certain videos are successful transferring very difficult topics to the public – and this feat takes only 18 minutes (sometimes a little more ;) ).Without going too much into detail resp. spoilering too much, the book is divided into three section, the first one on how to touch the emotional level of the audience by using e.g. by employing story telling. The middle section focuses on the importance of novelty by, for example delivering jaw dropping moments, while the last part covers the third column of a successful TED talk, being memorable.Basically, the author describes on how to use the techniques employed by the most speakers to improve your own presentations in business or private context not only to transfer information but doing this in new, fresh ways for easier memory resp. recall by the recipients. Not all examples can be transferred to each and every speech (like unleashing mosquitoes or using a blow-torch), but the structure presented gives a bunch of hints on how to improve your stage acting. I liked the presentation style / language of the book, the length of a chapter were ideal for an evening read. Recommendation 5 stars.
