Great for pinning back bangs

No one has confirmed yet, but these bobby pins are indeed smaller than standard sized bobby pins. They are 31mm long (whereas I measured a standard bobby pin at 51mm long.) The painted coating is quite even. Note, however, that half of the bobby pins are a very dark brown instead of a black. They are so dark brown that I initially did not even recognize that they weren't black. Lastly, I received 28 bobby pins instead of 26 bobby pins.That last note deserves additional comment. I recently bought a large tub of bobby pins only to be shortchanged 2%. In contrast, this item gave me 7.6% more than promised. I'm not necessarily complaining about the 2% that the other company short changed me, but Goody ought to be commended for making errors in the customer's favor. These may cost slightly more than other bobby pins (although they seem to be in line for what small bobby pins cost.) Regardless, companies that still put the customer first ought to be rewarded with customer loyalty. Goody has earned mine.

Perfect for the short haircut girl or someone who's trying to control a particularly problematic area. They blend right in and don't hurt at all. I use them sometimes to keep loose headbands up and I could probably start using them for my mask too to give my ears a break. All around a wonderful purchase.
