Zinsser B-I-N Primer Flat Quart 6

We made our own trim for our new home however the wood knots kept bleeding thru the white paint. We tried many products with no success. Then we tried Zinsser Shellac Base Primer and it covered the ugly yellow knots. It’s been a few months now with no sign of knots re-appearing. A product that actually works!

I had red dresser drawers - wood with a laminate finish. I wanted to paint them a pale green. This primer did the trick. I am so happy with the outcome. The product is a bit pricy but worth it because it does what it is supposed to do.

A great product, I have used around my trims of my windows to prep before painting ( yes I am one of those that paints the wood around my house but not all haha! ) Recommend, very smooth finish and did with two coats. ( Used a paint brush for the window frames and base boards )

This is the best primer to use on anything you really need to seal to prevent any bleed through! I used this on my knotty pine cabinets in the kitchen before painting and it worked amazing! Only thing is it is a STRONG smell, so be sure to use a painting mask and use this product outside if possible!

Just painted our kitchen backsplash with stuff and it’s great! It dries EXTREMELY quick! So no waiting around for hours. We had a 10 x 10 kitchen painted with 4 coats in under 2 hours. Has a subtle satin sheen to it which is nice. Very hard to get out of paint brushes, and off surfaces so be careful. Can be tinted if needed, would buy again!
