I loved the idea of these but the tips break off constantly, especially if dropped. They're so short to begin with, that sharpening them each time a tip breaks off makes for a short lifespan for these colored pencils. I do not recommend.

My baby is having a lot of fun. I tried the egg crayon before this and she didn’t really like it or use it because they don’t write as easily. This crayons write easily and she finds a lot of pleasure on using it. Other reviews said they break easily, sometimes is true, but it’s the price to pay for them to work that well. The egg crayons don’t break but don’t write either. I’ll definitely buy this again!

My favorite feature of these colored pencils is their soft richly colored “lead”. Standard colored pencils and cheap crayons require children to press hard to get color. These glide right onto the page. The downside of the softness is that it crumbles more easily. Overall that hasn’t been enough of a problem for me to not want to use them. I’d rather than than a more sturdy pencil that frustrates my child.
