Mesa Tactical Mag Clamp fits Rem 12-Gauge

I purchased this for a home defense build that I was finishing up. I used a Wilson Combat +2 magazine extension and this clamp gave a solid connection between the barrel and mag extension. I also added the Mesa Tactical 2" picatinny rails on both left and right sides of the clamp to mount a Streamlight Protac light to the build. I love the quality of Mesa Tactical products and their products are built like a tank. Very pleased.

Well-made and mounts solidly. I've installed it on my "working" 870 and it's held up well through some fairly dynamic training. No slipping and-- on the other side-- no crushing of the magazine tube.

The clamp is excellent. The factory package was missing the removable sling swivel promised in Amazon product description AND on the enclosed MESA insert. Contacted MESA and they sent one out without charge.

Wish it wrapped the barrel and magazine tube a little more than 1/2 the diameter like most clamps on the market. It looks as if you could pry the tube and barrel apart with said clamp (spacer) attached. With a true clamp it would be more difficult. Is seems to act more or a spacer while aligning both. It does fit the barrel and tube perfectly and made from quality material.

I needed a forward mounting point on the tactical shotgun I’m building and this is perfect. Another reviewer said it was more of a spacer than a clamp, completely wrong. The fact that it doesn’t wrap completely around the barrel allows for the use of bead sight when needed. I will definitely recommend this!
