Fits the Samsung T5 like a glove and the elastic keeps it in place.I noticed a few people saying they had issues with fitting the USB cable into the net area. I used the USB C to USB C cable and it fits with ease. This is a smaller head on the cable so maybe the USB A is more difficult.Well constructed with soft interior to prevent scratches and zips work well. The included hand strap is flimsy but is easily removed and not something I need as this case is to keep the SSD safe inside my backpack.All in all, very happy.

Bought this case to house my new Samsung T5 SSD 500GB on the odd occasions I might need to carry it around. It arrived very promptly and was well packaged. The design is very good and fits the T5 perfectly with storage room for the cables in the cover. The outside of the case is hard and offers excellent protection and has a useful short carrying strap which can be detached. Inside the slot for the T5 the case has a soft velour finish which protects the finish of the device and an elasticated retaining strap secures the contents safely. Got this for nearly half price using PRIME so good value. Other colour options would have been nice - fed up with everything black! I'm very happy with the purchase so far but as it was only purchased recently it's too early to comment on it's durability.

The case is nice enough and feels sturdy enough will certainly protect the drive in transit bit was a little too small for fitting the cables needed for the drive. This is the one that came with the SSD drive. So a little disappointing it does fit well so you have to jam it in. If a mark 2 is made then a little more room for cables would be good.

After 1 year in the bottom of a rucksack it is still as good as new. I live out of a suitcase / rucksack during the week and having used one of these cases for a year with a Samsung T3, I just bought another for use with a T5. This lives in the bottom of a rucksack together with power supplies, mains plugs, titanium 'spork', keys and other such stuff. The first one is - after a year of this treatment - virtually unmarked and zip etc all still function 100%. So .. I am looking to the same from my second one, which appears to be made just as well.

Great little case for Samsung - seems well made and sturdy. It is a little bigger than the Samsung SSDs with an internal 'shoulder' about a cm wide all round and there is a half depth elastic mesh pocket in the lid for the connecting cable. The internal shoulder does not seem to offer any benefit other than taking up space as it feels very, very stiff and so would contribute little to shock absorption.Overall, a good case and not too much bigger than the device.
