Smells nice and is definitely gentle on skin.

Unforchantly I have sensitive skin & while I was looking for a nice scented chocolate soap, this dries my hands out. I'll stick with Saavy Naturals... while the scents are not as nice as this particular soap, I can wash my hands or body multiple times a day with their products & my skin never dries out.

This soap lasts all day! No perfume needed the scent is very seductive!

This is a translucent pink, as shown in the photos in the box, though pinker. Mine didn't have any of the powder look shown in some of the photos. That may have gone away before it got here from absorbing moisture or something.The scent is sweet, floral, woody, fruity, not necessarily what you might expect from lavender because it's the essential oil, which doesn't include part of the scent often associated with lavender. Not so much like Ivory Soap, though there's some of that. A pleasant fragrance.It lathers and cleans well.It doesn't dry my skin; there are some moisturizing oils besides the glycerin in it.Besides the green tea, there's black tea, and a bit of shatavari, a traditional herb from India believed to help with stress. The box says, "Soaps made with Lavender essential oils & Green Tea can promote a sense of relaxation. It can be beneficial to use lavender soaps before bedtime to promote a deep sleep, Lavender soap is also an effective calming aid for anxiety or excessive energy in children and toddlers." I'm skeptical of the claims about kids, but if you're inclined to believe the other ones about relaxation, etc, it will probably help you with that.The full ingredients are: coconut oil, sodium stearate, glycerin, olive oil, almond oil, green tea extract, black tea extract, food grade lye, vitamin C, vitamin E, sugar, sea salt, lavender essential oil, castor oil, wheat germ oil, Asparagus racemosus (shatavari) extract, tocopheryl acetate (another vitamin E).3.5 ounce bar, so on the small side, but lasts well.Comes wrapped in plastic in a paper box as shown. The plastic helps contain the fragrance and keep the soap from absorbing moisture.SVATV is a recent brand from India dedicated to Ayurvedic products. Made in India.

As a stay at home mom I wash my hands a lot. I "treat" myself to nice soap, so I can enjoy the experience- nice smell, not sticky feeling no residue, and no dried out skin. I like the smell of this, but it is strong. It's not sticky feeling and doesn't leave any residue. I do think it's drying out my hands- or at the very least it's not keeping them moisturized. The bar seems to last and doesn't easily fall apart. I've had some cuts and things on my hands while using it and I haven't noticed this soap helping in any way- not something I was looking for it to do, but it does talk about being good for those things. Overall, I will probably go back to buying the soaps I like from TJMaxx/Homegoods, but it's not a bad soap if you want to try it.
